Introduction○ Scenario 5

Scenario○ We are in the digital age with more connectivity between

people than ever.○ Schools are requiring students to enroll in courses that

include the use of computers as a part of their curriculum.○ However, low-income families possibly cannot afford

computers and may not even have the correct knowledge as to how to use them.

○ Despite this worldwide problem, but want to concentrate on a smaller sample size.

○ Focus on people in the State of Indiana.

Solution Proposed Solution: The age of computers is here and more and

more people are turning to technology on a day to day basis yet there are still millions of Americans without access to computers. In response to this we proposed a solution that would help fight this problem right here in central Indiana.

1. Central location for families to have access to the internet and use computers (Library or IT center)

2. Introduce a class (Monday-Friday) to teach individuals to use computers. In return they get their own personal laptop for an additional price.

3. Supply computers to public schools which will give the opportunity to teach students basic computer knowledge.
