ARCHAEOLOGICAL FEATURES Historically Creek Indian territory, both Pulaski and Wilcox Counes are rich in Nave American arfacts due to the many Creek selements that once existed along the banks of the Ocmulgee River. The enre area has abundant archaeo- logical potenal, parcularly along the Ocmulgee River. Interpretave Signage at Mile Branch Landing showcases this Nave American heritage from 7500 BC - Present.
