For the first-time userPlease go to http://hkbu.zoom.us. Upon successfully login (Sign in with SSO), Pro license will assign to user. When you has Zoom account before, HKBU Zoom domain will ask you to migrate (One Time) your current account information to the new domain. You will receive email from Zoom to confirm the “Switch to the new account”.

3Login to Moodle and select the course under My Course

1Go to https://chtl.hkbu.edu.hk/elearningFor HKBU colleaegus : “HKBU Moodle”For SCE colleagus : “SCE Moodle”

2Click “HKBU Staff/Student Login”and enter SSOid and Password

4Click and click “Turn editing on”

5Click “Add an activity or resource” to add new activity

6Select “External tool” from the list

Click “Add” to confirm

7Input the Activity Name

Select “Zoom Video Conferencing” from the dropdown list in Preconfigured tool

Click “Save and return to course”

8After saving the configuration, the instructor can click the activity to launch Online Class via Zoom

Topic: Enter a descriptive name for your meeting in the Topic field.When: Enter the information for the Start and Duration fields.Duration: Enter the Duration of the meeting. (Optional: Select Recurring meeting if you want this meeting to occur regularly [e.g., weekly].)

Meeting OptionRequire meeting password: You can select and input your meeting password here. Joining participants will be required to input this before joining your scheduled meeting.

Enable join before host: Allow participants to join the meeting without you or before you join.

Mute participants on entry: If join before host is not enabled, this will mute all partici-pants as they join the meeting.

Use Personal Meeting ID: Check this if you want to use your Personal Meeting ID. If not selected, a random unique meeting ID will be generated.

Record the meeting automatically: Check this if you want the meeting to be automati-cally recorded. Select if you want it to be recorded locally (to your computer) or to the cloud (zoom.us/recording).

The videos will be removed after 120 days due to limited cloud storage. Please backup the video to the local computer after use.
