    FELLOWSHIPS/SCHOLARSHIPS/STUDENTSHIPS/ STIPENDS AND LOANS AVAILABLE TO THE STUDENTS OF

    THE ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITYGeneral Conditions

    1. All Fellowships and Studentships shall be credited to the Students account from whereawardees will be allowed to withdraw their credited balance according to rules (except forPh.D., foreign students, backward class and scheduled caste students).

    2. Research students getting Fellowships or Research Scholarships shall cease to get the same ifthey are appointed teachers in the University or its maintained institutions.

    3. All Scholarships shall be tenable for the same number of the months for which tuition fee ischarged unless otherwise provided in these Regulations, provided always that 75% ofScholarships of any description open to male candidates below the academic status of Master,shall only be held by the students residing in the Halls of the University.

    4. Scholarships which remain vacant under any particular category may be awarded to a student inany other category.

    5. Application for the Studentships and Scholarships other than Fellowships and ResearchScholarships must be submitted on the prescribed form to the Dean Students Welfare, bySeptember 15, through the Provost and/or the Chairman of the Department and Dean of theFaculty concerned.

    6. No student shall be awarded the University Merit Scholarship and the General MeritScholarship at the same time.

    (i) Unless expressly provided for in these Regulations or in the terms of some endowment, astudent shall not be awarded two Scholarships tenable during the same period.

    (ii) A merit-cum-means deserving student may be allowed to draw more than one Scholarshiptenable during the academic session provided that the total amount of award does notexceed Rs.2,000/- per annum and that other conditions of the Scholarship awarded by theoutside agencies are also fulfilled. In case of award of University Scholarship, feeconcession (full or half freeship), may be ignored provided the total amount does notexceed Rs.2,000/- per annum.

    7. The following are the rules for the award of merit Scholarship in Persian, Arabic and Sanskrit:

  • 4(i) Scholarship shall be awarded strictly on merit.

    (ii) Scholarship shall be awarded strictly on the basis of a test in Senior Secondary SchoolCertificate, B.A. (Hons.) and M.A.

    (iii) Those who are awarded the Scholarship of B.A. (Hons.) during first year shall receive theScholarship for the entire course, provided they secure at least second division marks inthe subject at the end of each year.

    (iv) Those who get Scholarship in M.A. during the first year will get it for two years, providedthey secure at least second division marks in the subject at the end of each year.

    (v) If a Scholarship falls vacant in B.A. (Hons.) after first year, a test shall be held. If there isa vacancy in B.A. (Hons.) and M.A. after second and first year, respectively, theScholarship shall be awarded on the basis of marks obtained in the Examinations justpreceding.

    (vi) Half of the Scholarships will go to the Womens College at the Undergraduate level.

    8. The term of all the Merit Scholarships based on Competitive test, and University ExaminationResults in the Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Science, Life Sciences and Law shall initiallybe for 11 months. If the Scholarship holder fails in the Examination or indulges in misconduct,the Scholarship shall not be continued in subsequent years. The Scholarship falling vacant onthis account will be awarded to the toppers of the respective Examinations, in order of merit.

    The Scholarships in Faculty of Medicine shall be tenable for 18 months instead of 11 months.

  • 5FELLOWSHIPS / RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS(a) U.G.C. RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

    U.G.C. Junior Research Fellowship such as Fellowship on any given time basis (in thesubject concerned as also Fellowship in the concerned Department available in any project likeCentre of Advanced Study, Department of Special Assistance, Departmental Research Support,Research Project, etc.) will be awarded to those who have qualified the National Eligibility Test.The value of Fellowship in the case of candidates qualifying in the National Eligibility Test andregistered for a research degree in an approved institution will be Rs.8,000/- p.m. as JRF. TheFellowship will be raised to Rs.9,000/- p.m. as SRF, after rigorous evaluation of the work of thescholar, on completion of period of two years. For JRF, the contingency grant is Rs.12,000/- perannum in Science programmes and Rs.10,000/- per annum in Humanities and Social Sciences. ForSRF, the contingency grant is Rs.25,000/- per annum in Science programmes and Rs.20,000/- perannum in Humanities and Social Sciences

    (b) CSIR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPJunior and Senior Research Fellowships are awarded by the CSIR directly to those who

    qualify CSIR-UGC Joint National Eligibility Test for 2/3 years, @ Rs.8,000/- and Rs.9,000/- p.m.,respectively. Contingency grant of Rs.20,000/- per annum is also admissible to such awardees.

    (c) RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED BY OTHER BODIESA few Research Scholarships at various rates/duration are also awarded by ICMR, ICHR

    and ICAR, directly as per their terms and conditions.

    DR. WALI MOHAMMAD SCHOLARSHIP A few merit Scholarships are awarded to Muslim candidates joining research inExperimental Physics at the Aligarh Muslim University or elsewhere, which includes Universitiesor Research Centres abroad.

  • 6UNIVERSITY RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP/SCHOLARSHIPEligibility Candidates with a Masters Degree in the First or High Second Division in the subjectconcerned are eligible to apply for the Scholarships. Candidates having good academic record at theearlier examinations will be preferred.

    Selections Selection for the award of Scholarships will be made by the Vice-Chancellor on therecommendation of a Committee constituted for the purpose.

    University Research Fellowships/Scholarships shall be awarded at the following rates:-

    (a) Rs.1,000/- p.m. for first two years and Rs.1,150/- p.m. thereafter.

    (b) The Fellowship shall terminate on completion of viva-voce for a Ph.D. degree or completionof 5 years from the date of registration for M.Phil./Ph.D., whichever is earlier.

    (c) University Fellowships in each Department in the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences ofRs.1,000/- p.m. awarded to a Ph.D. candidate holding a First Division Masters degree,tenable for two years in the first instance but may be extended for another year.

    (d) One University Fellowship in the Centre of Strategic Studies in the Faculty of SocialSciences of Rs.1,000/- p.m., tenable for two years in the first instance and extendable foranother year.

    (e) Fourteen University Fellowships in Science (including Faculty of Life Sciences) ofRs.1,000/- p.m. each awarded to Ph.D. candidates holding a First Division Masters degree,tenable for two years in the first instance but may be extended for another year.

  • 7(f) One University Fellowship in Commerce of Rs.1,000/- p.m. awarded to a Ph.D. candidateholding a First Division M.Com. degree, tenable for two years in the first instance but maybe extended for another year.

    (g) Two University Fellowships in Law of Rs.1,000/- p.m. each awarded to Ph.D. candidatesholding a First or Second Division L.L.M. degree, tenable for two years in the first instancebut may be extended for another year.

    (h) Two University Fellowships in Theology of Rs.1,000/- p.m. each awarded to Ph.D.candidates holding a First or Second Division M.Th. degree, tenable for two years in thefirst instance but may be extended for another year.

    (i) One University Research Scholarship of Rs.1,000/- p.m. for each subject in the Faculties ofArts and Social Sciences awarded to Ph.D. candidate holding a First or Second divisionM.A. degree, tenable for two years in the first instance but may be extended for anotheryear.

    (j) One Departmental Research Scholarship in the Centre of Strategic Studies in the Faculty ofSocial Science of Rs.1,000/- p.m., tenable for two years in the first instance but may beextended for another year.

    (k) One University Research Scholarship of Rs.1,000/- p.m. for each subject in the Faculty ofScience, awarded to Ph.D. candidates holding a First or Second division M.Sc. degree,tenable for two years in the first instance but may be extended for another year.

    (l) One University Research Scholarship of Rs.1,000/- p.m. in Operational Research in theDeptt. of Statistics, Faculty of Science, tenable for two years in the first instance but may beextended for another year.

    (m) One University Research Scholarship of Rs.1,000/- p.m. in the Faculty of Commerceawarded to a Ph.D. candidate holding a First or Second division M.Com. degree, tenable fortwo years in the first instance but may be extended for another year.

    (n) One Departmental Research Scholarship of Rs.1,000/- p.m in the Faculty of Commerceawarded to a Ph.D. candidate holding a First or Second division M.B.A. degree, tenable fortwo years in the first instance but may be extended for another year.

    (o) One Research Scholarship of Rs.600/- p.m., tenable for the duration of the course, in eachlanguage namely, Bengali, Malayalam, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil (Total 5).

    Applications for the Scholarships should be submitted to the Dean of the Faculty concerned.The above Fellowships are awarded by the CASR of the Faculty concerned.

    RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS IN MEDIVEAL INDIAN HISTORY(a) Two Sr. Research Fellowships of Rs.500/- p.m. plus Rs.1,000/- p. a. for contingency,

    tenable for two years but may be extended for another year.

    (b) Two Jr. Research Fellowships of Rs.300/- p.m. plus Rs.1,000/- p. a. for contingency, tenablefor two years but may be extended for another year.

  • 8(c) Four Research Scholarships of Rs.250/- p.m. for Ph.D. students, tenable for two years butmay be extended for another year.

    FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR RESEARCH SCHOLARS A Financial Assistance of Rs.1,000/- for typing and binding the dissertation will be awardedto the deserving and needy research scholars out of the annual grant Rs.75,000/- for FinancialAssistance for Research Scholars.

    FACULTY OF MEDICINEPOSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA AND DEGREE COURSES

    SCHOLARSHIPS / FELLOWSHIPS

    UNDERGRADUATE (M.B.B.S.) SCHOLARSHIP

    1. To students passing the Competitive Admission Test and joining the First Year M.B.B.S.class, four Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the rest of Rs.90/- per month, are awarded,in order of merit, determined in selection.

    2. Four Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the rest of Rs.90/- per month, are awarded, inorder of merit, to students passing the First Year Examination and joining the Second yearM.B.B.S. class.

    3. Four Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the rest of Rs.90/- per month, are awarded, inorder of merit, to students passing the Second Year M.B.B.S. (First Professional)Examination and joining the Third Year M.B.B.S. class.

    4. Four Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the rest of Rs.90/- per month, are awarded, inorder of merit, to students passing the Third Year M.B.B.S. Examination and joining theFourth Year M.B.B.S. class.

  • 95. Four Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the rest of Rs.90/- per month, are awarded, inorder of merit, to students passing the Fourth Year M.B.B.S. (Second Professional)Examination and joining the Fifth Year M.B.B.S. class.

    6. ANWAR JAHAN BEGUM SCHOLARSHIP IN MEDICINE AND SURGERY

    Two Scholarships each of the value of Rs.250/- p.m., tenable for 10 months, to be awarded tothe students, in order of merit, at the Entrance Examination of M.B.B.S., subject to conditionthat the income of his/her parents/guardian does not exceed Rs.2,000/- p.m. The Scholarshipshall continue for the duration of the course, provided the recipient continues a good progressin studies. The expenditure on the above shall be met out of the interest earned on thedonation made by Dr. Nasir Ahmad Khan.

    7. KHALIDA UMARUDDIN SCHOLARSHIP

    One Scholarship of the value of Rs.100/- p.m., tenable for 10 months, to be awarded to astudent of M.B.B.S. Second Year who secures the highest marks in the First ProfessionalExamination, subject to the condition that the awardee is not in receipt of any other UniversityMerit Scholarship. Expenditure for the above shall be met out of the interest earned on thedonation made by Prof. Umaruddin.

    8. ZUBAIDA BEGUM MEMORIAL AND ANWAR HUSAIN SCHOLARSHIP

    One Scholarship of Rs.100/- p.m., tenable for 18 months, to be awarded to a girl student ofM.B.B.S. First Professional who secures the highest marks in Biochemistry, provided themonthly income of her parent/guardian does not exceed Rs.1,500/- p.m. and that she is not inreceipt of any other University Scholarship.

    9. RAFIA SULTAN SCHOLARSHIP

    Two Scholarships/Stipends of the value of Rs.200/- p.m. each to be given to the poor andmeritorious Muslim students of the Faculties of Medicine and Engineering and Technology.

    10. SALIM SCHOLARSHIP

    Five Scholarships of the value of Rs.250/- p.m. each, tenable for 10 months, to be awarded tostudents of First, Second and Third Professional M.B.B.S. courses, out of the earnings oninvestment donated by Mr. Irfan Salim.

    11. HAMEEDUDDIN KHAN SCHOLARSHIP

    Two Scholarships of Rs.45/- p.m. each to be awarded every year to deserving Muslimstudents of the Faculties of Medicine, Science, Life Science and Engineering and Technology.

    12. 15 Scholarships/Stipends of the value of Rs.500/- each, tenable for the duration of the course,to be awarded to students of Nursing Course.

    13. MIR WILAYAT HUSSAIN EDUCATION TRUST FUND

    Four Scholarships of the value of Rs.350/- p.m., tenable for 10 months, shall be awarded tostudents securing highest marks at the Entrance Test from amongst the candidates selected foradmission to the B.D.S. Course, and students securing highest marks at each ProfessionalExamination of the B.D.S. Course (I to III Year).

    14. SHRIMATI NIRMALA LAKHTAKIA CASH PRIZE

    A cash prize of Rs.1000/- shall be awarded every year to a student securing highest marks atthe MBBS (F) Professional Part-II Examination of this University, out of the donation madeby Prof. H.S. Lakhtakia, former Chairman, Deptt. of Surgery, J.N.M.C., A.M.U., Aligarh.

    15. NAJMUDDIN AHMAD SCHOLARSHIP

    Five Scholarships of the value of Rs.120/- p.m. each, tenable for 11 months, shall be awardedto students of MBBS course from I to V Year, out of the donation made by Mr. NajmuddinAhmad, 146-Brandon Road, Baltimore, MD-21212 (U.S.A.).

    16. MIR WILAYAT HUSAIN GOLD MEDAL

    A Gold Medal will be awarded every year to a student securing highest marks at the B.D.S.Final Year Examination.

    17. DR. SALMAN ALI GOLD MEDAL

    The Gold Medal shall be awarded to M.S. (Orthopaedics) student who secures the highestmarks in Final Examination, and a Silver Medal be awarded to a student who secures thesecond highest marks in Final Examination of Orthopaedics.

    18. YUSUF ALI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

    There is a provision of one scholarship entitled Yusuf Ali Memorial Scholarship of thevalue of Rs.1,000/- p.m. for 10 months is to be awarded to MBBS IInd Professional at J.N.Medicial College for the student who have passed all subject in first attempt at 1stProfessional examination with good marks/grades.

    19. PROF. SOHAIL AHMAD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

    There is a provision of one scholarship entitled Prof. Sohail Ahmad MemorialScholarship of the value of Rs.10,000/- per annum is to be awarded to MBBS IIIndProfessional (Microbiology) at J.N. Medical College for the student securing highest marks in2nd Professional Examination in Microbiology.

    20. MAQSOOD HUSAIN KHAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP:-

    Lump-sum amount of Rs.18000/- to a poor and needy Muslim student of M.B.B.S. (I Year)

    21. HAJI MUKHTAR HUSAIN SCHOLARSHIP:-

    One scholarship entitled Haji Mukhtar Husain Scholarshipto be awarded to a Muslimstudent of M.B.B.S. II Prof. of the value of Rs.1000/-per month,tenable for 10 months is to beawarded to the financial deserving student, who has passed First Proffessional Examinationwith highest aggregate marks,

    22. Dr. Irtaza and Shana Siddique Scholarship in Nursing:-

    One Scholarship of Rs.300/- per month tenable for ten months per year to be awarded to aMuslim student securing highest marks in the First year examination of the Diploma inGeneral Nursing and Midwifery course at AMU, Aligarh. The scholarship will be continuedtill completion of the course during the next 2.5 years provided the student maintains goodprogress in studies. After the scholarship becomes vacant, it will be awarded in the samemanner to a new student from academic session starting after the scholarship becomes vacant.

    23. Dr. Irtaza and Shana Siddique Scholarship in Medicine and Surgery:-

    One Scholarship of Rs.500/- per month tenable for ten months to be awarded to a Muslimstudent securing highest marks at the MBBS entrance test of AMU, Aligarh and joins the saidcourse at AMU, Aligarh. The scholarship will be payable to such students for ten monthsonly. Thereafter, it will be awarded to a new student in the same manner, from the nextacademic session.

    FACULTY OF UNANI MEDICINETIBBIYA COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS AND STIPENDSMERIT SCHOLARSHIP1. Five University Merit Scholarships of Rs.90/- p.m. and five of Rs.75/- p.m., are awarded to

    students of Kamil-E-Tib-E-Jarahat BUMS class (all 5 years), on the basis of Admission Testto the students of the First Year B.U.M.S., and on the basis of Examination result for theremaining classes, tenable for 11 months.

    2. KAMIL-E-TIB-O-JARAHAT (B.U.M.S.) SCHOLARSHIP

    To be awarded to deserving students of Kamil-E-Tib-O-Jarahat (B.U.M.S.) class, upto theextent of Rs.5,000/-, by the Academic Council on the recommendation of the Principal, AjmalKhan Tibbiya College.

    3. DAWAKHANA SCHOLARSHIP

    To be awarded to deserving students of Kamil-E-Tib-O-Jarahat (B.U.M.S.) class out of theprofit of A.K. Tibbiya College Dawakhana, A.M.U., Aligarh.

    4. M.D. (UNANI)

    Postgraduate stipend of the value of Rs.2,630/- p.m. plus allowances for the First Year andRs.2,705/- p.m. plus allowances for the Second Year and Rs.2,780/- p.m. plus allowances forthe Third Year to be awarded to candidates selected for the M.D. (Unani) course, onexecution of a bond.

    5. HAKIM ABDUL LATIF GOLD MEDAL

    The Gold Medal shall be awarded to the student securing the highest marks in Moalijat, in theFinal BUMS Examination. The expenditure will be made out of the donation made by A.K. Tibbiya Dawakhana, A.M.U., Aligarh.

    6. SIR SYED SCHOLARSHIP

    Out of the interest on the donation of Rs.20,000/- given by the Registrar, Jamia Urdu, Aligarh,one Scholarship of Rs.200/- p.m., tenable for 10 months, is awarded to the meritoriousstudent of Second Year Tib (B.U.M.S.).

    7. KHALAQ MIR KHAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

    Lump-Sum amount of Rs.14000/-for the poor student of BUMS (Final Year) A.K.T. College.

    8. MUZAFFAR MIR KHAN MEMORIAL GOLD MEDAL

    Gold Medal in the name of Muzaffar Mir Khan Memorial Gold Medal to be awarded to thestudent of A.K.Tibbiya College who secures highest marks in the final year examination ofBUMS.

    FACULTY OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY

    1. M. TECH.

    Postgraduate Scholarships of Rs.2,500/- p.m. each are awarded to candidates joining M.Tech. course who qualify GATE Examination. The Scholarships are tenable for 24months and carry a contingent grant of Rs.3,000/- per annum.

    2. ZAFAR ALAM SCHOLARSHIP

    One Scholarship of Rs.100/- p.m., tenable for 10 months, shall be awarded to M.Tech. FirstYear student who stands First in B.Tech. (Mech.) Final Examination. In case such a student isnot available, the Scholarship may be awarded to a student who stands Second or Third, inorder of merit, in the above Examination. Expenditure will be met out of the interest earnedon the donation made by Mr. Zafar Alam.

    UNDERGRADUATE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

    B. TECH.

    1. Five Scholarships in order of merit determined in selection, one of Rs.120/- per month andfour of Rs.90/- per month, to be awarded to students of First Year B.Tech.

    2. Five Scholarships in order of merit, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the rest of Rs.90/- p.m., to beawarded to students passing the First Year Examination and joining the Second Year class.

    3. To students passing the Second Year Examination and joining Third Year and Fourth Yearclass, merit Scholarships shall be awarded, as detailed below, in order of merit determinedas per the procedure laid down for the purpose.

Four University Merit Scholarships, of the value of Rs.120/- p.m., tenable for 11 months, tobe awarded to the students passing the Diploma Engineering Examination and admitted toB.Tech First Year each in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical and Civil obtaining highestpercentage of marks at the Diploma Engineering (Final) Year Examination.

    6. One University Merit Scholarship, of the value of Rs.120/- p.m., tenable for 11 months, tobe awarded to a candidate passing the B.Tech. First Year Examination of this University andobtaining the highest percentage of marks.

    7. Three University Merit Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and two of Rs.90/- p.m., tenablefor 11 months, are to be awarded each year to B.Tech. (Electronics) students for the durationof the course.

    8. Two Merit Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the other of Rs.90/- p.m., tenable for 11 months, shall be awarded to B.Tech. students on passing the Second Year and joining theThird Year.

    9. Two Merit Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the other of Rs.90/- p.m., tenable for 11 months, shall be awarded to B.Tech. students on passing the Third Year and joining theFourth Year.

    10. Two Merit Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the other of Rs.90/- p.m., tenable for 11 months, shall be awarded to B.Arch. students on passing B.Arch. First Year and joiningthe Second Year.

    11. Two Merit Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the other of Rs.90/- p.m., tenable for 11 months, shall be awarded to B.Arch. students on passing B.Arch. Second Year andjoining the Third Year.

    12. Two Merit Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the other of Rs.90/- p.m., tenable for 11 months, shall be awarded to B.Arch. students on passing B.Arch. Third Year and joiningthe Fourth Year.

    13. Two Merit Scholarships, one of Rs.120/- p.m. and the other of Rs.90/- p.m., tenable for 11 months, shall be awarded to B.Arch. students on passing B.Arch. IV year and joining theFinal year.

    14. G.D. BIRLA FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

    Financial aid to the extent of Rs.500/- per annum is available to poor and meritoriousstudents of Faculty of Engineering. Expenditure will be met out of the interest earned on thedonation of Shri G.D. Birla.

    15. DR. N.A. KHAN SCHOLARSHIP

    The Gold Medal is to be awarded to a student who secures the highest marks in M.Sc.Chemistry Examination.

II year and III year(Biochemistry) to be awarded with poor economic back ground @ Rs.500/- p.m. tenable for10 months. For the award of fellowship in B.Sc.II.Year the student must have passedB.Sc.(Hons) I year examination securing a minimum average of 60% marks, having passedin all papers and have put in a minimum of 80% attendance in the I year. The fellowship maybe continued for the subsequent year for 10 months @ Rs.500/- p.m. to support him/her inthe III year provided the awardee maintains the academic performance and class attendancein II year.     This Scholarship shall be awarded to the best Muslim Girl Student of ELT (English) FinalYear on the basis of her performance in Ist year. The awardee should not take any otherScholarship from any source after or before the award of this scholarship. The Chairman ofthe Department /D.S.W. shall communicate the donor on his address each year the name ofthe awardee alongwith the marks obtained by him in previous year.

    Out of the interest on the donation of Rs.50,000/- of five persons, received through Prof. M.M.R.K. Afridi, two Scholarships of Rs.250/- p.m. each, tenable for 10 months, oneeach to be awarded to the regular students of Womens College of B.Sc. Second and Third Year, who obtain the highest marks in Botany in previous Annual Examination. In caseof a tie, the awardee shall be selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifyingexamination in Botany Theory only i.e. excluding the marks obtained in sessionals andpractical. (C.R.No.303 dated 9.5.1998).

    23. BEGUM TARA RASHEED SHERWANI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

    Five Scholarships, each of the value of Rs.100/- p.m., tenable for 10 months [5 x (Rs.100/- x10 months = Rs.1,000/-) = Rs.5,000/- ] are to be awarded out of earnings on the donation ofRs.1 lakh made by Shri A.R. Sherwani, New Delhi, to internal Girl students ofB.A./B.Sc./B.Com. I year course in the Womens College, one in each Faculty of Arts/SocialSciences/Science/Life Sciences/Commerce, on securing highest marks with not less than 60%marks at the annual examination of XII Course, subject to the condition that the awardee willnot drop her studies and also will not change her Faculty. If the student in the top merit isreceiving any other scholarship, the student next in order of merit with not less than 60%marks at the XII examination shall be considered for the award.

    12. U.P. GOVT. INTER MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

    These Scholarships are awarded to the SSSC students obtaining 60% marks in the HighSchool Examination from the U.P. Board by the Director of Education, Allahabad.

    13. ABDUL RAUF AHMAD AFTAB BEGUM WANI SCHOLARSHIP
