The CSUSB Financial Aid Office is currently accepting scholarship applications for the 2012-2013 academic year. No paper autobiographical statements. No paper letters of recommendation. No paper transcripts. The application deadline is February 3, 2012. Current students, and CSUSB "Applicants" with a Coyote ID, can access the scholarship application through their MyCoyote account. When your completed DHSHS scholarship application is received in the Career Center, a scholarship file is made for you.
Copies of your application are submitted for
you when you fit specific eligibility requirements for GPA, test scores, activities, etc., for local scholarship opportunities.

1. Members of scholarship committees read your application and make their decisions according to their own unique criteria.
2. At some point you may receive an invitation to be interviewed.
ALL applications (college, job, and scholarship) will require time, energy, attention to detail, accuracy, and thought from you.
With the exception of the Gates Millennium Scholars program, all applications must be submitted using the HSF online application system. Please note that you can only apply to scholarship programs that are open.

Inland Empire Mensa
ELIGIBILITY for MENSA scholarships:
The only eligibility requirements are that the applicant be enrolled, for the academic year following the award, in a degree program in an accredited American institute of post-secondary education, and be a resident of the area of a participating local group of American Mensa. For the general awards, the applicant need not be a member of Mensa nor qualified for Mensa, and the general awards are unrestricted as to age, race, gender, level of post-secondary education and financial need.
CONDITIONS of awards:
Awards will be made on the basis of an essay of fewer than 550 words, which describes the applicant’s career, vocational, or academic goal toward which the scholarship is to provide aid.
Entries will be judged and awarded at three levels: local, regional and national. Awards are made in amounts ranging from $300 to $1000.

If you submit the DHSHS Scholarship Application and live in DHS, you will be considered.
Number of scholarships vary, but the DHS Women’s Club gives as many as they can: $1,000 for students attending 4-year colleges, and $500 for community college.
Finalists will be interviewed. If you miss your interview, you will not be eligible to receive this scholarship.
