SCHOLARSHIPS, AWARDS AND BURSARIES There are numerous scholarships and awards available to students who attend St. Peter's College. While these awards encourage and reward scholastic achievement, life experience and College involvement, they also provide monetary assistance and help to facilitate attendance at the college. The deadline to apply for St. Peter's College Scholarships and Awards is June 26th. Successful applicants will be notified in early August. St. Peter's College Scholarships and awards are presented to recipients at the Awards Ceremony in September of the upcoming year. For awards based on high school achievement, averages are calculated using university entrance requirements. All upper-year awards require completion of no less that 24 credit units at the university level. The Scholarship Committee reserves the right not to grant an award if criteria have not been met. The scholarship or bursary will be applied to the payment of the recipient’s tuition and fees. Any remaining balance will be dispersed to the student. St. Peter's College reserves the right to release recipient information to donors, high schools, provincial funding bodies and the media. The College also reserves the right to use this information for promotional purposes. St. Peter's College assumes liability for the payment of scholarships, bursaries and other awards only to the extent that expected gifts from donors or returns from particular investments of endowed funds are realized. The College reserves the right to make whatever changes circumstances may require, including the cancellation or addition of particular awards.
