In an effort to make things easier for students and families, Steadyfoot is pleased to offer a yearly $1,000 scholarship. Running is one of the easiest and most affordable physical activities, but an injury may happen. When a foot injury occurs, it becomes difficult for people to return to their running routine. Steadyfoot would like for students to write an essay that details how a certain foot injury can occur and how the injury can be treated.

Eskridge Auto Free Ride College ScholarshipDeadline: January 6, 2019KOCO 5, Eskridge Auto, and Prosperity Bank are partnering to award deserving high school seniors with college scholarships. Ten finalists will be chosen to submit a video presenting his or her story about why they should receive the scholarship and vehicle. Applicants must be high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.25. They must attend high school in one of the following Oklahoma counties: Alfalfa, Beckham, Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Cleveland, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Garfield, Garvin, Grady, Grant, Greer, Harmon, Harper, Hughes, Kay, Kingfisher, Kiowa, Lincoln, Logan, Major, McClain, Murray, Noble, Okfuskee, Oklahoma, Payne, Pottawatomie, Roger Mills, Seminole, Washita, Woods, Woodward. The Free Ride Vehicle Scholarship recipient will receive a new 2018 Chevrolet Cruze LT and up to a $25,000 scholarship. Ron Brown Scholar ProgramDeadline: January 9, 2019The Ron Brown Scholarship Program (RBSP) honors the legacy of Ronald H. Brown through a selective scholarship program that advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually gifted African Americans.  RBSP competitively awards Ron Brown Scholars four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the most talented and economically-challenged high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship - the four pillars of the late Ronald H. Brown's mission to uplift people of all races, cultures and ethnicities - especially our disadvantaged youth. Recipients may use the renewable scholarships to attend an accredited four-year college or university of their choice within the United States. Ron Brown scholarships are not limited to any specific field or career objective and may be used to pursue any academic discipline. Applicants for the Ron Brown Scholarship must be graduating high school seniors at the time of their application. Eligibility: (1) Must be Black/African American. (2) Must excel academically. APIA Scholarship ProgramDeadline: January 10, 2019The Asian & Pacific Islander American (APIA) Scholarship Fund awards range from one-time $2,500 awards to multi-year $20,000 awards. APIA provides scholarships to underserved APIA students. United States JCI Senate Foundation ScholarshipDeadline January 11, 2019Each year, the U.S. Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation grants $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools. The number of grants awarded annually is at the discretion of the Foundation and must be used for educational expenses in the first year of full-time study. The Oklahoma Senate will award two $500 scholarships.
