Eligibility: Open to U.S. citizen Idaho resident at least 16 years old but not older than 25. If applying for a scholarship for private pilot flight training with a CFI, the applicant must have passed the private written exam and soloed. Idaho Stars Academic Scholarship

Eligibility: Early Childhood Education. Boise State University, College of Southern Idaho, College of Western Idaho, Idaho State University, Lewis Clark State College, North Idaho College, Treasure Valley Community College and University of Idaho Open to anyone who is enrolled in the Idaho STARS Professional Development Registry (PDS), works in a city or state licensed child care setting for at least one year, works at least 25 hours a week and earns less than $15 an hour. STRIVE! Volunteer Emergency Responders Tuition Reimbursement

Eligibility: Open to active volunteer emergency responders in good standing with department who respond to 25% of calls and meet academic requirements of the state institution with at least 2.5 GPA. STRIVE will also encourage Idaho residents to remain in their community for their higher education needs. Volunteer firefighters who work part time for the department and are paid an average of less than 20 hours per week are eligible. Selection based on fulfilling all requirements of the program. Gates Millennium Scholarship

This scholarship is one of the most generous and comprehensive awards out there. It's meant for outstanding minority students who demonstrate financial need; many of its recipients end up at the top schools in the country. Applicants are judged on academic performance, leadership skills, and community service. The scholarship covers all unmet need for college, and potentially even beyond for graduate programs. The Healthcare Leaders Scholarship

The Healthcare Leaders Scholarship is offered to students entering or currently pursuing an educational program related to nursing or medicine. Students must be at least 17 years of age and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
