■ Application procedure

In order to obtain Japanese student visa, firstly we apply for COE(Certificate of Eligibility) at

Immigration Bureau in Japan. When the COE is issued, each applicant applies for visa at local

Japanese Embassy (Consulate). That’s why it takes time for visa issuance. We recommend early

preparation of the documents.

If you finish applying for COE before you come to Japan, you can enter Japan with temporary visiting

visa and change the visa status after obtaining COE. In this way you can start the course as you

planned even if you don’t have enough time before the course start.

1. Tuition fee, Materials fee and Facility fee

1.1 For visa exempt countries

•Less than two weeks prior to course starting date: JPY 40,000

•Less than four business days prior to course starting date: No refund.

1.2 For visa countries

Cancellation after payment is done, ISI shall refund after deducting cancellation charge stated as below;

•Before the visa is issued: JPY 25,000

•After visa is issued: No refund.

When the reason for the cancellation would fall under one of the following cases, refund shall be granted partially, according to the

school and the accommodation regulations

1)Illness or injury

2)Death of applicant or a family member, or a relative

3)School director agrees the cancellation and refund

In the event of late participation for more than a week, course extension may be possible. In such a case, prior notice is mandatory.

In the event of course period shortening, no refund.

Cancellation more than 4 weeks prior to the planned date of immigration: Cancellation charge 10,000 JPY

2. Airport pick up fee

Airport pick up fee is non-refundable for any reasons.
