How to help:Work on facts. Begin with multiplication and then work on division.(Goal – Secure by December.)Check to make sure their work is complete, and they have the right answer. If it is a “try me” sheet, let them try, and parents can help explain.Accuracy is important and students need to show their work.

How to help:

Help keep the reading calendar.

Read with your child. Ask questions and discuss any book, movie, or situation. Ask the questions why and how.

Provide writing situations and remind them of rules in punctuation and capitalization.

Daily assignments will be posted on the assignment poster and Konnect. Students copy these into their own notebooks.

Occasionally, time will be provided during the day to work on assignments (except minutes for Reading Calendar).

There should be about 30 to 60 minutes of homework on weekday nights.

All assignments not completed at the end of the day become homework and are due the next day unless told otherwise.

I will try to send the assignments home if students are absent.
