HOPE 2 Intervention

Focus of Intervention:Students who display negative behaviors will be placed in in-school suspension, with a certified teacher, to avoid loss of instructional time. Students who display behaviors that require an alternative placement will be placed in the Star On behavioral intervention program for a period of 15 school days. Students who have not made sufficient academic progress will be required to attend tutoring and parent conferences will be scheduled as an intervention.

Monitoring Plan:The four grade level assistant principals will monitor student performance and track data related to interventions for students in each grade level. The deans' office will track the students that are placed in In School Suspension as a behavior intervention. The deans' office will track student attendance at mandatory tutoring and student academic progress.

Evaluation Plan:Data from Infinite Campus, as well as student grade distribution reports will be utilized to determine if the funds impacted student behavior and academic progress.
