THE AQUINAS EXPERIENCE
HONORS DISTINCTION
The Upper School publicly recognizes
excellence in academic achievement,
every Semester, based on the following:
- Straight A’s in all subjects = Principal’s List
- A’s and B’s in all subjects = Honor Roll
CLASS RANK
Due to the college-preparatory nature of the school, the
transience of the community, and the small class sizes,
Aquinas American School does not believe that a class
rank gives a comprehensive perspective as to academic
performance and capacity. As a result, Aquinas does not
provide class rank for student’s academic credentials.
ACADEMIC CALENDAR
Aquinas operates on a schedule of two 18-week
semesters with examinations at the end of each
semester.
FIELD TRIPS & EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Teachers accompany students on numerous educational
fieldtrips in the Madrid Region. In addition, the school
provides the opportunity to spend a quarter or a
semester abroad in a school in the US in Middle & High
School.
