LA Fitness Shooting Entry Team Testimonial

“I credit the training I received from you, Lieutenant, on how to respond to critical situations. It was just instinct from my training kicking in that I parked my car on an angle a safe distance fr m the front door as to not be an open target for the shooter. I placed my patrol rifle at the ready position and made my way to the front door passing people screaming in pain and asking for help. As I made it to the front door all I was thinking was I can't help these people I must neutralize the threat. I along with Officers Jim Lan-cia (BVPD), Adam Helf (SPD) and Shawn Arlet (SPD) charged into the L.A Fitness in a tactical formation which was taught to me from your classes in an attempt to neutralize the threat at hand. I thank you for the valuable training and as you can see when it counted it worked and helped save lives that day.”
