HOW TO USE THE TABLE OF SPECIFICATIONS?

The TOS allots a number of items from each competency under the easy, average, and difficult categories. The teacher shall provide test items for such allotments from the recommended test bank. It is advisable that the best and the most reliable items shall be picked for the pupils.

For the summative and periodic tests, page 1, paragraph no. 5 of the said DepEd Orderstates that:

“Transmutation tables shall not be used in the computation of grades. Test scores shall be recorded as raw scores, totaled at the end of the each grading period and then computed as percentage (i.e. [student’s score ÷highest possible score x 100)]”

REFERENCE MATERIALS

The test bank to be used shall be the mimeographed formative tests developed for the 2002 BEC PELC by the Division office at the start of the curriculum’s implementation.Some items from old division and district tests materials are also suggested to be used.Other references may be used provided that care is taken that they are free from errors.
