Exit Exam Preparation CATCAT or Common Admission Test, the most popular national level management entrance exam is expected to be conducted by Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode for admission to 20 IIMs and more than 100 B-schools across India. Around 2.5 lakh MBA aspirants appear for the test every year. CAT 2019 is a 3-hour computer-based test consisted of 100 Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and Non-MCQ type questions. There were three sections, namely Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR). CAT 2019 was held in last week of November in two slots. The result of CAT is announced in rst week of January, and the selection procedure initiates with the release of CAT cut-off. Each of the participating institutes of CAT executes their individual admission process; however, the short listing would be done based on CAT cut-off. Next, the shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection rounds, namely, Group Discussion (GD) or Writing Ability Test (WAT) or both and Personal Interview (PI) rounds for the nal admission. Additionally, the newly formed IIMs will administer the Common Admission Process (CAP) where the shortlisted aspirants from all participating IIMs need to appear for WAT and PI rounds.

GREThe GRE® (Graduate Record Exam) Test is the standardized test used to fetch admissions in various graduate schools or business graduate schools in various countries, especially the United States. More than 100,000 graduate school applicants from approximately 160 countries take the GRE General Test at 700 test centers. Aspirants interested in pursuing a master's degree, specialized master's course, MS, MBA, MEM or doctoral degree can sit for the GRE Test. In addition to the GRE revised general test, there are six GRE subjects tests that evaluate candidates’ knowledge in their respective eld. GRE test is conducted by ETS® (Educational Testing Service). GRE is available in two formats. They are GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test. The GRE Test Syllabus is different for both the formats. While the GRE General test measures a candidate’s verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking and analytical writing skills, the GRE Subject Test is focused on judging the candidate’s expertise in specic elds.

UPSC/PSCThe Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is the government agency responsible for recruiting ofcers into the civil services of the country. It conducts the exam and selects candidates based on the prescribed criteria. The civil services includes services like the IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS, etc. that form a part of India’s civil services – the backbone of the country’s administration.The civil services include three types of services namely, the All India Services, Group A and Group B Central services. The services that come under each of these types are mentioned below: All India Services:

Exit Exam Preparation SSCStaff Selection Commission - Combined Graduate Level Examination, often referred to as SSC CGL is an examination conducted to recruit staff to various posts in ministries, departments and organisations of the Government of India. It is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for selecting staff for various Group B and Group C posts. Candidates applying for the various posts need to have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university at the time of applying. The age requirements are between 20 to 30 years. The age limits may vary depending on the position applied. All women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee. The examination has several Tiers which are conducted over different days with results posted after each Tier. Previous exams also included an interview tier, but following a government order, interviews have been dispensed off for all non-gazetted posts in the central government as of 1 January 2016. A computer prociency test or a skill test was also added as a Tier for some posts. There are four major tiers for the 2018 exam.

And hence, more and more branches of the banks are being opened in every part of the country. As the sector is growing very fast, it also needs manpower at various levels. CAChartered accountants were the rst accountants to form a professional accounting body, initially established in Scotland in 1854. The title is an internationally recognised professional designation; the certied public accountant designation is generally equivalent to it. In India, Chartered Accountants are regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) which was established by the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. As of April 2017, the ICAI had nearly 270,000 registered members. Entry to the profession can be made by taking the CA Foundation Course after completion of schooling (12th grade). Alternatively, graduates may train as an articled assistant for three years in a chartered rm before nal exam.
