Science and technology
Meaning of science• Science (from Latin scientia, meaning "knowledge") is a systematic
enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe. In an older and closely related meaning, "science" also refers to a body of knowledge itself, of the type that can be rationally explained and reliably applied. A practitioner of science is known as a scientist.
• Since classical antiquity, science as a type of knowledge has been closely linked to philosophy. In the early modern period the words "science" and "philosophy of nature" were sometimes used interchangeably. By the 17th century, natural philosophy (which is today called "natural science") was considered a separate branch of philosophy.
Meaning of technology• Technology (from Greek τέχνη, techne, "art, skill, cunning of
hand"; and -λογία, -logia) is the making, modification, usage, and knowledge of tools, machines, techniques, crafts, systems, and methods of organization, in order to solve a problem, improve a pre-existing solution to a problem, achieve a goal, handle an applied input/output relation or perform a specific function. It can also refer to the collection of such tools, including machinery, modifications, arrangements and procedures. Technologies significantly affect human as well as other animal species' ability to control and adapt to their natural environments. The term can either be applied generally or to specific areas: examples include construction technology, medical technology, and information technology.
Science and technology• Human beings are part of nature , such as water , wind , rocks , soil ,
plants and animals; however, is the only being who can transform .
• Since its appearance on earth has demonstrated its ability and domain adaptation known how to leverage resources and exceeded the boundaries of the planet , exploring outer space.
• Particular features of the man , as their language and communication ability , the upright position and especially his complex brains have determined their cultural development.
• By observing , studying and understanding the environment around him , human beings discovered the application of science .
What are the new technology?• Refers to the latest technological developments and their
applications (programs, processes and applications).
• There is confusion in identifying new technologies to computer chips by the presence of almost all new appliances and the role it has in today's society. They also refer to the technological development in the design of processes, programs and applications.
• New technologies focus on communication processes and grouped into three areas: computers, video and telecommunications, with relationships and developments to more than one area.
