divine communication whose

revelation is not part of the QuranicMiracle.

Al-HadithAl-Qudsiis from Allah, from

the view point of meaning , butat

the same time ,itis the actualwording of the Prophet (pbuh).

Itis whatAllah (SWT)has

communicated to the prophet (pbuh)

through revelations orin dreams.Allahs Messengerinformed others of

its meaning in his own words.

Accordingly, the Quran is superior to

Al-HadithAl-Qudsi, because itis theactual word of God.

Differences between the

Quran andAl-HadithAl-

Qudsi There are some points of

differences between the Quran

andAl-HadithAl-Qudsi.

# 1- The Quran isadivine

miracle, which was revealed to

challenge humankind, thisdoesnotapply to Al-HadithAl-Qudsi.

# 2- Salatis notvalid without

the recitation of parts of the

Quran, thisis not true in thecase ofAl-HadithAl-Qudsi.

# 3 One who rejects the Quran

is regardedasa kafir, thisdoesnothold true in the case ofAl-

HadithAl-Qudsi.

# 4 The whole Quran wascommunicated to the Prophet (pbuh)

through the agency ofAngel Jibreel(a.s), thisdoes notapply to Al-HadithAl-Qudsi.

# 5 The Quran can not be touchedwithout Tahara (the condition ofbodily purity as prescribed byShariah)and this condition does notapply to Al-HadithAl-Qudsi.

# 6 Every word of the Quran is

Mutawatir (Ensured by many lines of

transmission) or ( Narrated by a bignumbers of transmitters, thatit

becomesimpossible for them to

agree aboutalie) . Thisdoes not

hold true forAl- HadithAl-Qudsi,which could be Mutawatir, Saheeh,

Hassan orDaeef (Weak)

Ibadah (Worship), but reciting

Al-HadithAl-Qudsiis not.

Differences between Al-

HadithAl-QudsiandAl-

HadithAl-nabawi # 1- Al-HadithAl-Qudsiisascribed to Allah

(SWT) because its meaning is from God,butAl-HadithAl-nabawiisascribed to the

Prophet (pbuh), because its meaning andwording are from the Messenger (pbuh).

# 2- Al-HadithAl-Qudsi was communicatedto Allahs Messenger through revelation(Wahy), butAl-HadithAl-nabawi could bean independent judgment or reasoning byAllahs Messenger. Ifhe (pbuh)doesamistake,he will be commanded to correctit.
