!  Smithsonian  Conserva1on  Biology  Ins1tute  (hQp://na3onalzoo.si.edu/scbi/aboutus/frontroyal/)  The  Smithsonian  Conserva3on  Biology  Ins3tute,  which  launched  on  January  25,  2010,  serves  as  an  umbrella  for  the  Smithsonian’s  global  effort  to  conserve  species  and  train  future  genera3ons  of  conserva3onists.  The  SCBI  is  headquartered  in  Front  Royal,  Virginia,  at  the  facility  previously  known  as  the  Na3onal  Zoo’s  Conserva3on  and  Research  Center.  Check  the  website  for  hours    

!  Kid  Museum  Bethesda,  Maryland  (hQp://kid-­‐museum.org/)  KID  Museum  is  a  new  kind  of  museum  serving  children  and  families  in  the  Washington,  D.C.  area.  KID  Museum  offers  unique,  interac3ve  experiences  for  elementary  and  middle  school-­‐aged  children  that  integrate  hands-­‐on  science,  technology,  engineering,  art  and  math  learning  with  an  explora3on  of  world  cultures  and  global  ci3zenship.
