Introduction of Scientific Approach
Scientific approach in learning activity were designed, so that student can develop concept, law, or principle by using scientific method.

Scientific Approach in 2013 Curriculum
The learning process that implements a scientific approach will touch the three domains, that is:
• attitude (affective),• knowledge (cognitive), and• skills (psychomotor).

Learning with scientific approach has the following characteristics:
Student-centered. Engaging science process
skills in constructing the concept, law or principle.
Engaging cognitive processes potential in stimulating the development of intellect, especially higher order thinking skills of students.
Can develop students' character.
Scientific approach also compatible with Bruner, Piaget, and Vygotsky’s theory
