History of Scientology

• Scientology was developed by L Ron Hubbard • Created to be a self-help group• Auditing was used as a way to recognize the

past events• Originally wasn’t meant to become a religion• Hubbard wrote a book on Dianetics and was

best seller in New York Times for roughly 6 months around 1949

• This led the foundation into bankruptcy in 1951 because they were teaching medicine without a licence.

• The reactive mind stores mental images which are not readily available to the conscious mind, these are referred to as engrams.

• Engrams are hard to regain from the memory. This is believed to take you away from your true identity. Auditing cures this.

• Auditing also know as counselling, this is used to keep the person pure and high on the Tone Scale.

• The main goal of auditing is to better the person on a personal level.

• Also it helps an individual look at his own existence and improves his ability to confront what he is and where he is.
