Our field is the Nordic region. The headquarter is located in Stockholm and we also have local offices in Malmö and Helsinki, Finland.

Computers

SCN offers fanless box computers for demanding environments. Besides

a wide standard range, we can also customize computers completely

according to customer needs. SCN has long experience in delivering

mobile rugged computers, with no moving parts, with or without CANbus

connection.

We can provide VGA or DVI connection to our MIL compliant displays. All

displays can be equipped with touch screen and full IP67 rated housing.

The displays withstand shock and vibration requirements according to

MIL810F and IEC60068.

SCN has a wide range of MIL compliant panel PC’s for building or

independent mounting. SCN uses the latest CPU platforms. The panel

computers withstand shock and vibration requirements according to

MIL810F and IEC60068.

All of our partners are qualified manufacturers and can offer a wide range

of portable tablet PC’s in sizes from 8.4” up to 12,1”. Long battery life and

high brightness screens with touch function are some of the requirements

that we can meet.

Our wide range of keyboards contains standard and customized models,

up to IP68, from our supplier InduKey in Germany. We can offer different

language and layout, with or without a pointing device.

Sensors

We have a wide range of contactless tilt sensors, one-/two-axial, with

measuring ranges up to 360 degrees. A number of outputs as voltage/

current and CANopen, J1939 and Profibus can be offered.

There are also combination sensors, inclinometers with integrated

accelerometer, a so-called gyro sensor.

MTS Temposonic is a leading manufacturer of sensors with so-called

magnetostrictive technology. These sensors provide high accuracy and

resolution, and are able to withstand extreme requirements for shock and

vibration.

We have MIL grade level transmitters/switches for fluids such as fuel or oil

and altitude switches for airborne applications. They are manufactured by

United Electric Controls.

Rotary encoders from Posital, suitable for demanding applications.

Compact design and sturdy ball bearings meet the demanding requirements

regarding shock and vibration. Also customization can be offered.

Posital FRABA is a leading manufacturer of absolute encoders. Available

with most fieldbus interfaces such as CANopen, Profibus, DeviceNet,

Ethernet, SSI and Analogue. We also have combined absolute- and

incremental encoders. The sensors are based on optical or magnetic

technology.

Our current- and voltage sensors are available in versions for AC/DC up

to 50V/800A, integrated with relay/contactor, and with different installation

options and mechanical designs.

Sensors

SCN has a wide range of MIL rated pressure- and flow sensors/switches

with different mechanical and electrical connections, and pressure levels.

The sensors/switches can work with most media such as air, gases and

liquids.

For applications including military and industrial vehicles, we have

GIGAVAC’s unique gas-filled, compact contactors for AC/DC with its

unique sealing technology EPIC™ (Extended Performance Impervious

Ceramic). This technology allows a higher temperature range and more

compact and lighter devices than with traditional sealing techniques.

We offer high performance fans from the French manufacturer LMB. The

fans are available in two designs: axial or centrifugal, as brushless DC or

for AC 50/60 and 400 Hz. The fans are supplied with integrated electronics.

Our limit switches from Petercem are approved for use in -55°C to

+260°C. The products are designed for harsh environments and can

handle very demanding defense applications.

From Mafelec we offer electromechanical components, sub-assemblies

and equipment for use in harsh environments. Their rotary switches have

good adaptability, modularity, safety and reliability.

Components

We have a wide range of MIL rated contactors from the manufacturers

Esterline/Leach and GIGAVAC. These handle loads 50-1000A and 12-

750VAC/VDC. The contactors can be offered with auxiliary contacts,

integrated EMC protection and current/voltage sensor. Also available in

multi-pole configurations. Multi-pole models 2-4 poles 50-500A.

Our relays from Esterline/Leach are particularly suitable for MIL- and rail

applications. The relays are hermetically sealed and qualified according

to applicable MIL- and RAIL standards. The relays are available for loads

0.5-50A, 6-110VDC and 28-115VAC, 50-400Hz. The range also includes time

delay relays, programmable timers, current and voltage sensors.

We have semiconductors ”Solid State Power Controllers” which for

example can be used as overcurrent- and short circuit protection. One

device can replace multiple electromechanical switches. For loads up to

300A. The modules are controlled by micro-computers with integrated

FET technology.

Components

We offer customized standard components such as cables/connectors

and mechanical connections. Also, we can deliver fully customized

components, sensors and computers according to customer needs. In

addition, we can deliver subsystems such as relay panels mounted on

printed circuit boards, racks or on DIN-rail including electrical/mechanical

interfaces and enclosures. The modifications are made in collaboration

with our suppliers or locally by us in Sweden.
