SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS The study made use of random sampling of ____ fishermen, _____ buyers/consumers, ______ market vendors in the coastal areas of Zambales. It dealt to determine the profile of the fishermen, consumers and market vendors as to their age, marital status, highest educational attainment and family income. The study assessed and determined the level of awareness of these three groups on local and national laws relative to the prohibition on catching, selling and eating manta rays, sharks and turtles. The profile of the respondents would linked the rationale behind why marine wildlife tagged as threatened are still seen being sold in the market despite the prohibition of the laws.
