The Scotch-Brite™ Surface Conditioning Disc range from 3M provides improved levels of consistency in cut and fi nish throughout the life of the disc, offering greater value to the end user.

The addition of Super Duty and Heavy Duty grades to the range means an increased level of stock removal and longer life than other surface conditioning products. This results in a range of products suited to more of your surface conditioning needs.

3 Different Types of Backing Disc Hooked SC-DH This disc has a ‘Hook it’ type backing, for use as part of a Hook & Loop system (3M914 back-up pad)

Disc Backed SC-DB This is a ‘fi bre backed’ disc designed to give extra strength & toughness, for use on most conventional fi bre disc back-up pads

Disc Roloc SC-DR This conversion is presented with a ‘Roloc’ quick release - screw on… screw off system. To be used in conjunction with 3M’s Roloc back-up pads

Centre Pin System

Surface Conditioning Discs from 3M are now available using the Centre Pin Sytem

• Utilises a centre hole in the hook faced surface conditioning disc and a centre pin in the back-up pad

• Centre pin is designed not to interfere with the work surface, allowing the disc to be used at the

usual angle

Benefi ts• Contributes to a reduction in hand-arm vibration

due to centred secure fi xing mechanism

• Centre pin secures the disc to prevent ‘fl y off’

• Easy to centre the disc on the back-up pad
