higher learning in eastern North Carolina and the second-largest university in North Carolina
The North Carolina General Assembly founded ECU on March 8, 1907 as a teacher training school and they selected Greenville as the site with classes first starting in 1909
East Carolina has historical strengths in education, nursing, business, music, theatre, and medicine

COSTS OF GOING TO SCHOOL FOR THE 2009-2010 YEAR
Regression model results: $3227.40 Tangent Line model results: $3268.60
Results yielded around the same range with only a difference of $41.20
The actual tuition for the 2009-2010 year is $2,991 so the projections are actual pretty accurate, with only a difference about 300 dollars. The Regression model was more accurate and was a better prediction for the tuition costs.
