These are screen shots of the production of my magazine front cover

This image uses direct address and attracts the reader to look at the magazine, also the contrast of red and black on the browns in the background makes the model stand out from the background.

The title is big and black and takes up a good part of the page making it clearly visible to the audience.

The main coverline fills the bottom part of the page and with the top and bottom filled this only emphasises the model more as he is brought out more.

The coverlines have a stroke on them which brings them up from the page and makes the only red text on the cover stand out more and this only further attracts the audience. Also, the coverlines are all about bands that were most common among participants in the questionnaire so hopefully this would attract a person who listens to Indie music or is of the Indie style themselves.

The byline came from popular words associated with Indie music in the questionnaire and it reflects the genre of music and tells the reader what the magazine is about.

Finally the barcode, the issue number and the price are added as they are all codes and conventions of a magazine.
