INTRODUCTION
Screenless display is one of the most interesting subject in the technologies and researches. It is system of transferring information/data through an electronic video without using screens at all.
SCREENLESS DISPLAYS Screenless, as the
word suggests clearly means ‘no screen’. So, Screen less Displays can be defined as a display which helps to display and even transmit any information without the aid of screens.
continued..
The main aim of the Screenless Display is to display or transmit the information without the help of a screen or the projector.
Using this display, we can directly project images onto the human retina, open space and even to the human brain. It avoids the need of high weight hardware and it will provide privacy at a high rate.

1.VISUAL IMAGES
Visual Image is a type of screenless display where the eye or the retina can recognize any screenless image.
Holographic display, Virtual Reality Goggles are some present visual image screenless display examples.
Example: Virtual Reality Goggles (VRG)
Virtual Reality Goggles (VRG) is an eyewear display device. Also known as Oculus Rift. Wearer can view and interact with a series of computer generated images. Consist display screens in front of face. Images can be projected with sound and video, allowing it more popular for entertainment applications.
2.VIRTUAL RETINAL DISPLAY
Virtual Retinal Display (VRD), a screenless display technology allowing the image directly to be projected on to the retina. In VRD, no real image is produced. It just beams the image to our eye balls directly.
Retinal Scan Display and Retinal Projector are some common popular name of it.

3.SYNAPTIC INTERFACE
Synaptic Interfaces does not use light at all and the visual image is directly given to the brain.
Brain Computer Interface (BCI) / (MMI) No light projection. Image directly send to brain. Achieved only in living horseshoe crab.
continued..
Synaptic interface can be used to provide vision who have defect of eye by bypassing the damage eye parts and sending visual signal straight to the brain .
ADVANTAGES
Low power requirements. High resolution images. Ability to represent 3D images. Greater portability. More accurate color. Wider angle of view.
DISADVANTAGES
Virtual Retinal Display (VRD) is not yet available in significant number.
Basically it higher cost. Synaptic Interaction is not yet
implemented . May harm to eyes as these displays
required closer interaction.
PREDICTION
Screen less display technology is likely to effect:
Lighting and projection technology. Lifestyle of visual impaired. Not to carry extra hardware for display. This will remove occupational limitations
of the visually impaired.
CONCLUSION
Screen less Display, the emerging new display technology will replace this touch screen environment and will solve the problems at higher level, making life more comfortable. It avoids the need of high weight hardware.
