FROZEN II NOVEMBERANIMATION/ADVENTURE/COMEDY 3D From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes the sequel to 2013’s animation blockbuster Frozen. Elsa begins to hear a strange sound from the north calling her. Together with her sister Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven, Elsa embarks on a journey to an ancient forest of an enchanted land to discover the origin of her powers and save her kingdom.

When the first trailer dropped in February this year, it garnered 116.4 million views in its first 24 hours since release, putting it ahead of Pixar and Disney’s Incredibles 2, which until now held the record with 113.6 million views.

STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER DECEMBERACTION/ADVENTURE/FANTASY 3D/IMAX

The Rise of Skywalker - hailed as one of the biggest films of the year, will be the 3rd installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy - following The Force Awakens (2015) and The Last Jedi (2017). A year after the events of The Last Jedi, the remnants of the Resistance face the First Order once again - while reckoning with the past and their own inner turmoil. Meanwhile, the ancient conflict between the Jedi and the Sith reaches its climax, together, bringing the Skywalker saga to an end. Directed by J.J. Abrams, the film’s cast includes Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Lupita Nyong’o.

DABANGG 3 DECEMBERACTION

Dabangg 3 makes its return to box-office after seven years. Produced by Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan - under their respective banners of Salman Khan Films and Arbaaz Khan Productions, the story starts in the present, goes back to the past and comes back to present day again. It will have a prequel portion, but only as a flashback.

Directed by Prabhu Deva, Salman Khan will reprise his role as the heroic police officer Chulbul Pandey. The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan who reprise their roles from the previous film, while Sudeep plays the antagonist.

JOKER OCTOBERCRIME/DRAMA/THRILLER IMAX/4DX

A standalone origin story of Batman’s iconic villain - not seen before on the big screen. The film is a gritty character study of Arthur Fleck - a man disregarded by society, and a broader cautionary tale.

Set in 1981, Arthur is a clown-for-hire by day and aspires to be a stand-up comic at night, but finds the joke is always on him. Caught in a cyclical existence between apathy and cruelty, he makes one bad decision that brings about a chain reaction of escalating events. The movie stars Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role, alongside Robert De Niro and Zazie Beetz.

MIDWAY NOVEMBER ACTION/DRAMA/HISTORY

An American war film which follows the story of US Navy sailors and aviators who fought through the Battle of Midwa - a turning point in the Pacific Theater of World War II. The film stars Luke Evans, Patrick Wilson, Mandy Moore and Dennis Quaid.

TERMINATOR: DARK FATE OCTOBER ACTION/ADVENTURE/SCI-FI IMAX/4DX/MX4D

In the 6th installment of the Terminator franchise, Sarah Connor and a hybrid cyborg human must protect a young girl from a newly modified liquid Terminator from the future. Directed by Tim Miller, the film features Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

MALEFICENT: OCTOBERMISTRESS OF EVIL ADVENTURE/FAMILY/FANTASY In the sequel to the 2014 family adventure movie, a formidable queen causes a rift between Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) and Princess Aurora (Ellie Fanning). Together, they must face new allies and enemies in a bid to protect the magical lands which they share.

GEMINI MAN OCTOBER ACTION/DRAMA/SCI-FI 3D/IMAX

Henry - an over-the-hill hitman, faces off against a younger clone of himself who is able to predict his every move. With no choices left, Henry must expose the truth behind Junior’s creation to prevent him from going down the same dark path he did.

WAR (HINDI) OCTOBER ACTION/THRILLER

In this Indian action thriller, a soldier named Khalid is assigned to eliminate Kabir, a former solider turned rogue, who was also Khalid’s mentor. Directed by Siddharth Anand, War features Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in lead role, and Vaani Kapoor as the female lead.

DOCTOR SLEEP NOVEMBER HORROR

Dan Torrance’s hope for a peaceful exis-tence soon becomes shattered when he meets Abra who shares his extrasensory gift of the “shine.” Together, they form an unlikely alliance to battle the True Knot - a cult whose members try to feed off the shine of innocents to become immortal.

CHARLIE’S ANGELS NOVEMBER ACTION/ADVENTURE/COMEDY

The 3rd installment of the famous female crime-fighting adventure will feature a new generation of private detectives working for the ever so mysterious Charlie. Directed by Elizabeth Banks, the film stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, Ella Balinska and Noah Centineo.

JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL DECEMBER ACTION/ADVENTURE/COMEDY IMAX

In the sequel to the 2017 film, and the fourth installment of the franchise, a team of friends return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, but discover that nothing is as they expect. The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan.
