Call it a reaction to stress, or call it a treat for a job [well?] done. Why is this relevant, you might be wondering? Because I put everything into this festival. Even my health. I believe 100% in this festival. We all need a leg-up and we all need people to see and review our work. That is how we, as filmmakers, continue to grow and progress. we, as filmmakers, continue to grow and progress. I love our crew we have assembled here at Screentest. We seem to be like Spinal Tap, always lose one along the way, but every time something wrong happens, a hundred things go right. It cannot go unsaid that I am unendingly thankful for Chris Nunn and his support and friendship these past few years. I couldn’t and wouldn’t do this without you. Every year Screentest gets bigger and better, and that’s down to you! So, in closing, the biggest thanks goes to everyone who have submitted films, queried, supported, acknowledged, and visited Screentest over the years. You rock. Maybe next year I’ll splash for the e-cigarette. Peace and Love, Nic IN ASSOCIATION WITH LONDON SOUTH BANK UNIVERSITY

30 | 31 WEEKEND SPECIAL EVENTS

I’m an ex-smoker. That’s right, I took the plunge and quit smoking a

couple years ago. So, why am I smoking outside right now? You guessed

it, every year, on this weekend in March, I buy a 20-pack and light up.

Call it a reaction to stress, or call it a treat for a job [well?] done. Why is

this relevant, you might be wondering? Because I put everything into this

festival. Even my health. I believe 100% in this festival. We all need a

leg-up and we all need people to see and review our work. That is how

we, as filmmakers, continue to grow and progress. we, as filmmakers, continue to grow and progress.

I love our crew we have assembled here at Screentest. We seem to be like

Spinal Tap, always lose one along the way, but every time something

wrong happens, a hundred things go right. It cannot go unsaid that I am

unendingly thankful for Chris Nunn and his support and friendship these

past few years. I couldn’t and wouldn’t do this without you.

Every year Screentest gets bigger and better, and that’s down to you! So,

in closing, the biggest thanks goes to everyone who have submitted films,

queried, supported, acknowledged, and visited Screentest over the years.

You rock.

Maybe next year I’ll splash for the e-cigarette.

Peace and Love,
