SCS20 OPERATION POWER CONTROL Standby Rectifiers for multiple applications. The structure of the SCS-20 equipment can be divided into two sections: power and control. Thanks to its versatility to suit customer needs the power supply is configurable for three-phase and single-phase power. The SCS 20 includes a trans- former with galvanic isolation to protect the recti- fier input and allowing adaptation to any input voltage. The SCS 20 is designed to operate based on the technology of pulse width modulation controlled in low frequency through a full wave bridge rectifier for three-phase and single-phase half controlled for. The output incorporates an LC filter to attenuate the ripple current voltage output and improved performance of the equip- ment. The SCS20 performs analog and digital control through an advanced microprocessor card that monitors and controls the computer digitally limiting values of voltage and current analogica- lly. SCS20 has local and remote signaling by display of the parameters, states and alarms. Tecnibat-Emisa Emisa rectifiers have a characteristic controlled output (curve IU - as per DIN 41773 standard). Its high stability keeps the output voltage within ±0,5%, with input voltage variations of ±10%, frequency variatons of ±5% and charging from 10 to 100%. Its main reliability features make SCS-20 an equipment for power supply in electrical substations. Highly adaptable to different applications and environments, with a broad range of standard features and upgradable if necessary to meet the most demanding requirements. Easy installation, operation and maintenance. Compatibility with different battery technologies, mainly Nickel-Cadmium and Lead batteries, open or VRLA, with special devices to enhance its performance and reliability.
