Loveland is a Municipality in Larimer County, Colorado, United States. The city was founded in 1877 and the population of the city in about 67,000

Benson Sculpture Garden, established in 1985, is located in a residential, 10-acre park-like setting that is perfect for showcasing sculpture. It is here that the Loveland High Plains Arts Council hosts its renowned Sculpture in the Park event the second weekend in August each summer. Currently, there are 144 pieces of sculpture on permanent display by world-renowned artists. The Loveland High Plains Arts Council, a private non-profit organization, was established in 1984 for the purpose of promoting sculptural arts for the cultural and economic benefit of the entire community. Each year the proceeds generated from the annual Sculpture in the Park show go towards the purchase of sculpture for Benson Sculpture Garden, as well as towards the funding of park improvements and landscaping. The extraordinary collection of art is situated around a lagoon in the midst of trees, flowers, and natural habitat areas.

“When I started to practice Yoga this pose in particular spoke to me. It speaks of centering. Bound to the earth by the strength of our roots and branches reaching, in hope of heavenly aspirations. This pose connects me to the image of my beloved inspiration!”

Cultural Pedestrians is a series of freestanding concrete and steel pieces that visually represent different cultures of past and present people from our society and others. The walking symbolically referenced by pedestrians is a measured movement with very direct connection to the world. The pieces are human-sized, and just like us, the whole is made up of parts. Each of us is a multifaceted compilation of smaller fragments of our thoughts, experiences and aspirations. The parts are not uniform but instead diverse, not derived from a single time nor a single place.Cultural Pedestrians
