    * All hieroglyphs have been presented here with their alphabetical & numerical indices according to the GARDINER classification.

    (1) - Typically from Thracian origin, the phrase My son, my falcon (hawk) has been preserved in the modern Bulgarian idiom. The word ispronounced in Coptic Egyptian and is also translated Son of God, and this is how it is being used, from the ancient Coptic EgyptianChristian liturgy, even to this very day!

    (2) - In the Hebrew Bible the word meaning God is also in the plural form (Elohim = Gods), but it is always by definition translated asGod (The One God). In the Arabic Koran, God also speaks always in the plural We, your God, but it is always meant The One God (asAllah is accurately translated from Arabic). In the Christian Tradition, the above visible contradiction (pl. vs sg.) is explained by theDoctrine of The Holy Trinity (i.e. God is One, but IS three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)

    (3) - It is notable that the phonetic value n of the above hieroglyph (standing for of, and for to, unto in the English language) has beenretained the same (n, or na) in modern Bulgarian, which betrays linguistic connections to the ancient speech of the Thracians.

    (4) - It is also of interest, that the phonetic values of t, ta of the above hieroglyph, standing for the definite and indefinite articles in thefeminine gender (corresponding to a and the in English), have been retained in the respective prefixes and/or suffixes in the modernBulgarian language, which demonstrates once again, a visible influence from the ancient Thracian speech.

    (5) - It is quite curious a fact, that each and every classical megalithic complex comprises of at least 2, 3, or 4 vertical stone pillars, and ahorizontal stone slab on top, which can be seen as the hieroglyph of Thrace, made of stone! Could this mean that the entire ancientmegalithic culture in Europe was a signature of sorts for the vast presence of the Thracians, that Herodotus wrote about? There may actuallybe a Thracian connection between the Bulgarian Perperikon, the Minnoan Crete and the British Isles Stone Henge after all!
