O V E R V I E W

The vS811-Sx-48 multiplexer and

demultiplexer are used in applications that

require transport of a mix of signals over

OC-48c/STM-16 network infrastructures.

They automatically detect and transport

SD-SDI, SDTI and DvB-ASI. HD-SDI can be

transported using the vS901-TAx-27 JPEG

2000 compression card.

This product is ideal for use in trunking and

aggregation of signals over SONET/SDH

networks. Nevion offers an enhanced version

of this card that transports one HD and two

SD over SONET/SDH. For further information,

please refer to the vS811-SHx-48 data sheet.
