• Florida High School/High Tech (HS/HT) is designed to provide high school students with all types of disabilities the opportunity to explore jobs or postsecondary education leading to technology- related careers.
• HS/HT links youth to a broad range of academic, career development and experiential resources and experiences that will enable them to meet the demands of the 21st century workforce.
• HS/HT is an initiative of the US Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy. In Florida, it is a program of The Able Trust, also known as the Florida Governor's Alliance for the Employment of Citizens with Disabilities.

• 2005 Florida Statistics:• Nearly 90 percent of HS/HT graduates have enrolled
in postsecondary education or training • 86 Florida high schools participated in HS/HT • Out of 118 HS/HT graduates:
– 40 percent chose to attend community college – 31 percent chose employment – 10 percent chose to attend a four year
college/university – 8 percent were undecided at the time of the
survey – 6 percent chose to attend a technical school – 4 percent chose other options – 1 percent enlisted in the military
