From the Starlet - Papaya (B), cut:• (9) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (144) 2 ½” squares.• (6) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

From the Jelly Fish - White (C), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (5) 6 ½” squares. From the Mini Fish - Navy (D), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (4) 6 ½” squares.• (2) 1 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (49) 1 ½” squares.

From the Coral - Ivory (E), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (5) 6 ½” squares.

From the Tossed Fish and Co. - Navy (F), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (5) 6 ½” squares.• (3) 5 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 5 ½” x 47 ½” strips.• (3) 5 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 5 ½” x 57 ½” strips.

From the Lobster - White (G), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (4) 6 ½” squares.

From the Jelly Fish - Blue (H), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (4) 6 ½” squares.

From the Underwater Scene - Blue (I), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (4) 6 ½” squares.

From the Eclipse - White (J), cut:• (3) 6 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (84) 1 ½” x 6 ½” strips.

From the Starlet - Yellow (K), cut:• (3) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 ½” x 47 ½” strips.• (3) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 ½” x 43 ½” strips.

From the Mini Fish - White (Backing), cut:• (2) 65” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 65” x 65” back.

Sewing Instructions1. Place (1) 2 ½” Fabric B square on the top left corner of (1) 6 ½” Fabric A square, right sides together (Fig. 1). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 1). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 2). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle ¼” away from the sewn seam.

2. Follow Figure 3 for the seam direction to add a 2 ½” Fabric B square to each of the remaining corners of the 6 ½” Fabric A square to make (1) Block One square (Fig. 4).

3. Repeat Steps 1-2 to make (5) Block One squares total.

4. Repeat Steps 1-2 and use Figures 5-11 for fabric identification, location and seam direction to make (4) Block Two squares, (5) Block Three squares, (4) Block Four squares, (5) Block Five squares, (5) Block Six squares, (4) Block Seven squares and (4) Block Eight squares. There are (36) blocks total. Fig. 5

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)6. Sew (7) 1 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric J strips and (6) assorted blocks together to make (1) pieced row. Repeat to make (6) pieced rows total.

7. Sew together the (7) Sashing Strips and (6) pieced rows, alternating them, to make the Center Block.

8. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 43 ½” Fabric K strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 47 ½” Fabric K strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

9. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 47 ½” Fabric F strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 57 ½” Fabric F strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

10. Layer and quilt as desired.

11. Sew the (6) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric B strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

12. Bind as desired.

5. Sew (7) 1 ½” Fabric D squares and (6) 1 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric J strips together end to end and alternating them to make (1) Sashing Strip (Fig. 12). Repeat to make (7) Sashing Strips total.
