1. INSTRUCTION MANUAL
A ship consists of many machine including main engine, ancillary equipment and generator in the engine room. These machine usually generate a lot of heats while operating. The sea water can generally be used to cool down such heat. For the cooling system, you have to weld the pipes to the seawater inlet / outlet to mount a flange where you can install the shutoff valves. If these valves would be required to be fixed or replaced, you can conveniently use the SEA CONNECTION PlUG to prevent the seawater from flowing into the ship while removing them.
You do not need to bring the ship into the dry dock for repairing the valves. You may simply insert the plug into the opening of the pipes, and then secure with lock handle while reparing or replacing the valves.

(1)TYPE-A, TYPE-B & TYPE-C (FIG 1-1)The Necessary operation work to attach all types (from type A to type C) plug is performed manually by drivers without special tools. All types consist of soft rubber, which is enlarged in the diameter of ship enlarged in the diameter of ship side hole by turning the operating part. Direct shell connections and sea connection pipe now can be sealed with the shell plate by divers without docking. Therefore, ship side hole be seal tightly. Each pipe plug must be marked with the pipe identification numbers mentioned in the general plan.
(2)TYPE-E(FIG 1-2)TYPE-D consists of soft rubber, which is enlarged in the dimeter of air vent hole and drain small hole by pushing operation part. Therefore, air vent hole and drain hole shall be sealed tightly.
(3)TYPE-E&F(FIG 3)Sea chest convering system are possible to seal the sea chest on outside vessel. Repairs, cleaning, cleaning and working on suction lines can be performed. G.S sea chest covering system is easy to install by diver. Before installation, all parts are to be secured for damages. It is fitted through hull apeature side evenly. A loop is fitted on the one area to prevent from missing sea chest covering system. The loop must be connected with the rope which supplied from the deck. It is fitted on the hull apearture part with over 3500 gauss magnetic solidity, then the water tightness must be perfected.After using the covering system, take off each end of the angle part. Drain opening the sea chest covering system must be installed. Finally a large Q’TY of water should be drained to the bilge, then the covers is pressed on the cover which take up full pressing power. Sea chest covering system hull aperture blanks are possible to seal the sea chest on outsidevessel. Repairs, cleaning, and working on suction lines can be performed.

2. INSTALLATION
G.S sea chest covering system is easy to install by a diver. Before installation, all parts to be secured for damages. To sink the blanks, it required to sink the blanks over come its floatage first, the power for sinking the blanks, you can attach properate weight to the designed loop from the deck through sup-plied rope. In case of without magnet type, it is fitted through “c” shape hook and ropes from the deck. In case of magnetic type, you can spread a blank and attach to ship’shull shell plate.Drain opening, the sea chest covering system must be installed & sealed. Finally a large q’ty of water should be drained to the bilge, then the blanks is pressed on the the top which take up full pressing power. The sinking power are calculated against its volume of 80%.
* The Handling Magnet for setting position is not included purchasing Sea Chest Cover.If you want to purchase the Handling Magnet for setting position, please notice that before an order.
