Hot Tub Controls & Pool Lighting You will find 4 push buttons on the top of the Hot Tub

1. ‘Spa’ – turns on* / off the hot water pump - works only when ordered.

2. ‘Spa Boost’ - this button is disabled.

3. ‘Jets’ – turns on / off the air bubbles - works only when ordered.

4. ‘Lights’ – turns on / off the Lighting.

The Heat / Lights / Bubbles will each run for 2 hours before switching

off, after which they can be restarted if needed.

* Allow 30 minutes to warm-up depending on outside air temperature.

Living Room Fireplace

The living room fireplace has been

disabled and the chimney removed. It

is not suitable to burn materials of any

kind. Please do NOT attempt to use

the fireplace.

Trash Trash & Recycle Bins are located in the front yard on the right hand side of the

house. Trash is picked up twice a week, usually on Tuesday and Saturday.

Please place sealed trash bags in the Bins upon your departure.

House Security and Keyless Entry There are three access doors into the house: the front door plus two

doors onto the rear deck.

You will be provided with a personal code for the keyless entry lock on

the Front door.

The 2 doors onto the rear deck can be dead-locked from the inside

only. Please ensure all doors are locked when leaving the house.

Heating & Air Conditioning (HVAC) The house is equipped with two HVAC systems:

•The main HVAC system covers all rooms in the house and is the

primary source for all heating and cooling requirements. The controller

is located in the Hallway.

•The Carolina Sun Room has an additional HVAC system with its own

controller; this is normally only needed during the hottest or coldest

months.

Outdoor Gas Grill & Propane Refilling A gas grill is provided for your use on the rear deck. Please ensure that

the Propane Gas Bottle and the two grill burners are switched off when

not in use. A full set of grill tools are stored in the kitchen.

While unlikely, if the gas bottle becomes empty during your stay, we

kindly ask that you refill it ; the nearest propane station is at Publix

Supermarket outside the Greenwood Gate of the Sea Pines Resort.

Bike Security Please park and secure your bicycles on the bike rack located to

the right hand side of the house.

bikes, helmets, baskets and bike locks for your use.

Departure Day Checklist • Empty Trash Bins

• Turn off Grill gas tank & replace grill cover.

• Please put a TV Remote next to each TV set.

• Run the Dishwasher.

Laundry Operating instructions are located on the inside lid of the Washer and Dryer in

the Laundry Room.

Hot Water Please allow 90 seconds for hot water to reach the faucets.

TV & Cable TV Services The living room and each bedroom has a HD Cable TV and Remote.

The TV & Cable boxes are both switched on & off by pressing the TV

Remote button marked “System On/Off”

HD channels start at Channel 420+ and include many news, movie and

sports channels.

Smart Blu-Ray / DVD & Streaming Services The TV in the living room is connected to a Blu-Ray / DVD that is

equipped with various streaming internet services such as YouTube,

Hulu, Netflix & Pandora.

Steps to connect the Blu-Ray Player to the TV:

• Press top left red power button on the Blu-Ray Remote.

• Press ‘Source” button & select ‘HDMI #1’ to connect the Blu-Ray

player to the TV.

Note: The source must be switched back to HDMI #2 to resume

Cable TV viewing.

DVD / Blu-Ray Rentals : A wide selection of Blue-Ray & DVR titles

can be rented from www.redbox.com located at the Publix store just

outside the Sea Pines Greenwood Gate.

Pool & Hot Tub Your vacation home includes a newly installed in-ground Pool &

Hot Tub. For your convenience, it is serviced and cleaned twice

a week, usually on Tuesday & Saturday.

As an option, the Pool and / or Hot Tub can be heated to pre-set

temperatures for an additional fee; please contact Sea Turtle

Getaways at least 48 hours in advance to request this service.

Pool Heating When pool heat has been requested, the pool will be pre-heated

to a set temperature before your arrival and will be continually

heated until you request the service to end. The pool heating

system does not require any adjustment.

Bluetooth Music System The high definition Bluetooth music system can be paired using Bluetooth to a

compatible Smartphone, Tablet or Laptop to stream your music.

The unit is simple to operate and does not have a Remote.

The unit is turned on & off by pressing the rocker switch on the rear of the music system.

Please turn the system off when not in use.

A rear mounted USB socket is provided to re-charge your streaming device if needed.

The music volume and equalization is controlled from your streaming device.

Bluetooth Pairing: Press ‘Pairing Reset’ on the rear of the music system.

You can now search for the Bluetooth signal (Fluance Fi30) using your Bluetooth device.

Once a device is paired, the unit will beep to confirm pairing is complete.

Pool Safety Rules

All the usual basic pool rules apply & include:

• Swim at your own risk.

• Use caution around pool at all times.

• No diving is allowed.

• No glassware to be taken into the pool area*

*Note: Plastic ware is provided for your outdoor

use & can be found in the kitchen wet bar.
