The seabird after an eight hour exhausting voyage which started

from Heraklion of Crete, flying above Aegean sea, through huge

waves, strong air and big clouds of mist, arrived at Thessaloniki.

First station was the White Tower.

The seabird stood on the higher place and stared the city.It

looked the traffic, the castles, the Rotonta, the beautiful

squares, the statue of Alexander the Great and the port.

Then the seabird flew a little longer and arrived on the

top of the 1st primary school of Triandria, a beautiful

neighborhood of the city.

It asked the students where is it and where it must go in

order to lay its eggs with safety. The students answered

that it is in Thessaloniki and it must go to the wetland oAxios

river. It thanked them and flew to the wetland for relaxing.

The other day it saw that everything around it was too

dirty. Moreover the other birds ignored it and the worst, it

was the unique seabird there. It felt so lonely and

disappointed. Who will help it in this unknown place?

Next morning, it saw the students of the school it had

visited, to clean the wetland wearing gloves and holding black

bags. Then it started to clean too. The other birds changed

their attitudes towards it and became friends.

Afterwards an other seabird came who wanted to lay its

eggs. The two birds helped one the other and finally they found

the suitable place for their nest.

The two birds laid their eggs and the little seabirds and

their parents lived harmonically at the wetland.
