This document tells you what you can expect from us whilst living in Seacole Court

Our aimTo provide supported accommodation to any young parent or expectant parent to enable them to develop the skills needed to live independently within 2 years. We will: � Work in partnership with outside agencies and organisations to provide you with support to access employment, training and education opportunities

� Provide you with support to find longer term accommodation

� Work with you to put together a plan of how we will support you. This is called a support plan and will be based on your individual needs. We will update this every six months or sooner if we need to

� Meet with you on a one to one basis, either weekly or fortnightly to discuss how you are progressing with the actions that are in your support plan

� With prior agreement with your scheme manager, give you access to WIFI within the scheme and the use of a computer/laptop

� Carry out monthly health and safety checks of the scheme. These are called block your scheme

� Where necessary, work with outside agencies such as the police to deal with complaints of nuisance and anti-social behaviour within the scheme

� Hold monthly resident meetings to keep you updated with what is happening in the scheme and share any other important information with you

� Keep you updated with news of what is happening in Nehemiah by producing regular customer newsletters

� Deliver a statement of your rent account every 3 months and provide you with further assistance if needed

� Ensure that you have access to the cleaning and gardening agreements for your scheme.These will be kept in a folder in your scheme – your scheme manager can tell you where to find this

� Produce an annual report each year. This will tell you about our main achievements and how well we have performed

� Ensure that complaint forms are available within your scheme if you need them

� Let you know who is covering your scheme if your scheme manager is absent by displaying this information on the noticeboard in your scheme

� Each year carry out a check of the gas, heating system and electrical appliances in your property to ensure that they are safe and in good working order

� Give you the opportunity to give us your opinion about the services that you receive and make suggestions for improvements

� With your help review this agreement every 3 years

What we expect from you: � To regularly attend support plan review sessions

� To ensure that you are considerate to your neighbours

� To ensure that you or your guests do not cause any anti-social behaviour or nuisance

To be considered for a property at Seacole Court, a referral can be made by a number of agencies including a health visitor, social worker or GP. You can also make a self-referral. For more information on being housed at Seacole Court, please contact the scheme manager.
