Review route assignment and time parameters for each consignee. Load inspection for security and uniform loading. Ensure all necessary delivery equipment is in trailer and secure.
Delivery of palletized product to all assigned consignee clients in a timely manner.
Direct contact with consignee clients. I am the face of the company.
Documentation of time parameters at each stop. In addition documentation and reporting of any issues and consignee stops.
End of day trailer clean out and stowing of all delivery equipment for next day operation. Turning in all route documentation and as needed direct reporting to supervisors of any route issues.

Duties
Operation of 2015 Freightliner Cascadia with Eaton 13 speed manual pulling both refrigerated and dry van trailers .
Daily pre and post trip tractor and trailer inspection. Use of Qualcomm communication device for all life of load, company dispatch and HOS logging. Have mainly pulled a 13'6" refer trailer picking up and delivering a variety of product.
Winter driving experience is extensive. I have driven in every type of weather and road conditions many times in the western 11 states. Being our corporate head quarters is based in Oregon, frequent trips the the Pacific Northwest are required. Then back out to the rest of the country.
I have zero preventable accidents, and zero DOT violations. I have a proven track record of picking up and getting my loads there on time per dispatched schedules.
I run my HOS clocks as if I were at a job which required clocking in for the shift. I take a 30 minute break to reset my 8 clock, and do it at a time to gain the remainder of my 11 clock. At the end of 10 hours to reset my 8, 11 and 14 I am on duty. I efficiently manage my 70 clock and have almost never had to take a 34 hour reset. Recap time means both the company and myself make money continuously. In a governed vehicle I always drive 500 to 600 miles a day.
The most paramount aspect of this job to myself is safety. Not only operating in a safe and legal manner, but always being mindful that the safety of myself and rig is of the utmost importance. Also, the people around me. Attribute my safety consciousness to my days as a lift truck instructor with Home Depot. When it comes large machinery of any kind. Do something careless or allow yourself to become complacent. People get hurt or killed, and property gets damaged.
