RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGERThis is an exciting opportunity to work for a growing, dynamiccompany in the heart of Muskoka. Working directly with theOwner and Controller, the Retail Operations Manager willoversee the performance of nine retail locations. The idealcandidate will be a strong leader, motivating, delegating andempowering different teams within the company to achievedesired results.Duties:• Work with departmental buyers to optimize product mix,
margin, and ultimately, sell-through• Pricing promotion and seasonal timeline design and
implementation• Co-ordinate merchandising company wide, including fixturing
and retail support programs• Organization of special events• Contribute to effective communication between all locations• Ability to lead as well as participate in all aspects of new
product integration• Motivate and lead staff in terms of sales techniques, product
knowledge and general appearance• Performs all other duties and assignments as requiredRequirements:• A post secondary degree or diploma in business marketing
or related field (asset)• 3 or more years retail experience in management and/or
buying• Experience with visual merchandising and retail layout• Ability to understand and interpret financial reports and
forecasts• Excellent organizational and timeline management skills• Ability to communicate effectively both within organization
and externally• Familiarization with computer point of sale software an asset• Strong flexibility and adaptability in a constantly changing
