Searching discrete eBook subject collections on SpringerLink The following instructions will demonstrate just one way of identifying titles within discrete eBook subject collections on SpringerLink and searching within them.

1. Log-in to the SpringerLink service at http://www.uclan.ac.uk/students/library/springerlink.php using your Shibboleth username and password if you areoff the University Campus.

2. Select the Collection you would like to browse from the discipline list.

When a collection has been selected ie Computer Sciences you will be presented with a results list containing all titles within this collection.However, we only have full-text access to the copyright years within thecollection that we have bought and also, those published in English. Forexample, 2010-2015. (See above for the copyright years applicable to theother subject collections).Filter the collection by deselecting the tick box Preview-Only content. From the top of the results you can limit the years of publication.

Business & Economics (copyright year 2010) Computer Science (copyright year 2010-2015)

Mathematics and Statistics (copyright years 2012-2015)Physics & Astronomy (copyright year 2005-2015)

Professional & Applied Computing (copyright year 2009-2015)

5. The results list should now be updated, showing the titles we subscribe to.

To access the full-text of any book, simply click on the title.

If you would prefer to search within the collection, rather than browse titles, you can do so. Search terms will be applied to the full-text of all titles within the collection and relevant chapters returned in the results list.
