The Embracing Series is a unique collection of adult studies on important topics of interest to today’s Christians, offering your small groups engaging and discussion-rich sessions. Each study is led by a popular teacher and deals with a thought-provoking subject.

Each study uses a DVD (1 needed per group) featuring the host’s presentations and interactions with a small group and a Participant Workbook (1 needed per participant) for members’ notes and reflections. Your members are able to respond to the on-screen leader’s presentation as well as to the interaction of the small group.

The group discussions are moderated by Tim Scorer, a well-known educator, facilitator, retreat leader, and spiritual director.

EMBRACING AN ADULT FAITH

Doesn’t get much better than this!

— The Reverend Dr. Melford “Bud” Holland, Philadelphia

EMBRACING EMERGENCE CHRISTIANITY

Where do you believe God is leading? Tickle takes us on a pastoral journey, of which we cannot see the end detail, but into which the Spirit continues to invite us. This is an invitation to be disturbed, moved out of our comforts and into the new thing God is doing among us.

— The Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, Presiding Bishop & Primate of The Episcopal Church

EMBRACING A LIFE OF MEANING

Kathleen Norris is one of the great spiritual masters of our time

— James Martin, SJ, is a Jesuit priest, contributing editor of America magazine, and author of The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything, and Jesus: A Pilgrimage

EMBRACING SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

This is a remarkable, innovative program. Diana Butler Bass brings her expertise and energy to questions that really matter. Anyone wanting to think differently about connecting the Church to the lives of modern Americans should use this resource.

— Ian Markham, Dean and President of Virginia Theological Seminary

EMBRACING AN ALTERNATIVE ORTHODOXY

Richard Rohr is always teaching us how to stretch our boundaries, while drawing upon our rich tradition. Here he goes, as only a Franciscan can, to the man who showed us how to love all of creation, St. Francis of Assisi, and challenges us to do the same. His is a critical message for our time.

— John Feister, editor, St. Anthony Messenger
