The Apple Blossom Festival is one of Sonoma

County’s oldest and most attended two day events that takes place in early spring each year. This is a festival that draws an audience from around the Bay

Area and throughout Sonoma County. Our media coverage estimates that more than a

million people will see or hear about this event and we are making it even bigger and better than ever by introducing the highly successful Bill Bowker Blues

Festival to our Sunday line up.

Thousands of festival goers will descend on Sebastopol for our annual Apple Blossom Festival on April 22 & 23, 2017. The two day festival kicks off with a heartwarming parade featuring participants from all areas of Sonoma County interested in promoting the agricultural heritage and spirit of our popular community. We invite you to get involved and in return we’ll make sure people know all about you. Our weekend of festivities kicks off with a grand parade down the main street of Sebastopol. There are several reviewing stands along the mile long route with a judging stand at the main staging area. We would like to offer our major sponsor an opportunity to share the visibility and the reviewing stand during this part of the day.

At the conclusion of the parade the crowds will move to Ives Park, which will be bustling with activity, including crafts, food and drink booths. Our commitment to the event is to allow only those vendors with superior quality goods. In addition to the booths, there are two entertainment stages featuring a variety of acts and music. Our talent is drawn from Sonoma County and from the world stage, which will be featured on both days with our festival headliners performing on Sunday during our Blues Festival.

Apple Blossom Blues Festival Sonoma County is home to KRSH-FM and its alternative, Americana and blues music. DJ Bill Bowker is a nationally recognized leader in the American Blues Society and provides the talent acquisition for the Sunday festival. In our inaugural year he put together an all-star lineup of Bay Area talent along with a nationally recognized headliner.
