ROOM 8 WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS:Week of November 18, 2019

JUST A REMINDER: We are being dismissed at 12:45 PM this week.

DRIVERS NEEDED – We are planning a field trip to singing carols at a Senior Center on Monday, Dec. 16th. Kindly fill out the form that came home today if you’re available to drive for the trip. Approx. time for the field trip will be 9AM-11:30AM.

We will not have ART and COMPUTER classes this week because of our minimum dismissal schedule.

THANK YOU so much to all the parents who drove/chaperoned on our field trip to UCLA!

Parent/Teacher Conference continue… I will send a reminder the day before we meet. I am looking forward to speaking with you about your child’s progress in our classroom. Progress Report came home today for all the families who I already conferenced with and the rest will receive your child’s report card during our parent/conference meeting.

Just a reminder that School Experience Survey went home last week to the oldest child that attends Mar Vista. We are hoping for 100% school participation. You may fill out the form online by going to https://achieve.lausd.net/Page/8397or you could also return the form in the sealed envelope provided in your child’s folder. Thank you to all the parents who participated!

We will be collecting box tops the whole school year. Please send them in your child’s folder when you find some at home!

Thanksgiving Break (11/25-11/29) is next week and school will be closed!

STAR will be on campus from 11/25-11/27.
