Mark your calendars for the 7th Annual SilverLakes Pumpkin Patch on Sunday,October 21st. The event will be held at the Pavilion at the SilverLakes Community

Park from 3pm- 5pm. It will be a fun afternoon! Choose the perfect pumpkin! There will be a hay ride, fun activities and pumpkin decorating. More information for this event will be in the 3rd Quarter Edition of Ripples.

What’s New!The 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt was held on Saturday, March 31st on the Great Lawn at the Community Park. There was quite a turnout! The egg hunt started promptly at 10am. There were 4, 500 eggs placed in the field as well as some special golden eggs. The bunny petting zoo was back, as well as an art activity, face painting, temp tattoos, a jelly bean counting raffle, pictures with

the Easter Bunny and new this year, live DJ music! Also new this year- Relay for Live was on hand to sell refreshments. It was a great time.See photos on Page 3. Thank you to our generous sponsors!

Family Movie Night will be held on Friday, May 25th on the Great Lawn at the SilverLakes Community Park! COCO will be shown! There

will be COCO themed temporary tattoos, complimentary popcorn and Raffle prizes. Relay for Life will also be selling refreshments. Please bring your own chairs and wear sneakers on the lawn. SilverLakes Committees always need resident volunteers. Are you interested in becoming more

involved in your community? Do you have a green thumb? Perhaps you would be interested in the landscaping committee. Do you like the water?

Perhaps the Boating & Lake Committee would be a good fit. You can download a volunteer application

Artie was a beloved member of the SilverLakes Community. He was a resident of Las Brisas and served as Las Brisas President for 25 years. He also served on the SilverLakes Security Committee. He was a retired Miami Beach Police Officer. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha Ganz and four daughters; Marsha, Robin, Nancy, Cindi and five grandchildren. His family meant everything to him. He loved Las Brisas. SilverLakes was his paradise.

Artie will be dearly missed.

Boy Scout Troop 441 will place American Flags in front of everyone’s mailbox this year in time for the 4th of July. They will also pass by after the holiday and collect them and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your complimentary flag, please do so by bringing it inside. Thank you.
