Facebook Inc. paid $22 billion dollars for fast growing instant

messaging app “Whatsapp”

According to recent statistics Whatsapp has 0.5 billion active

users. It charges $1 charges for one year. If we calculate its profit

(0.5 billion x $1 = $50,000,000). Does it all goes in profit? Of

course not, because they need money in maintaining server and

other expenses.

Do all users pay $1 every year? Once again, answer is no.

Because, many people change their whatsapp number after one

year or some people uninstall whatsapp after one year and then

download it again with a new google account and get one more

year for free.

According to Facebook Inc. it’s a business deal to increase their

revenue. Let’s suppose for a while that Whatsapp yearly revenue

is $50,000,000 ($0.5 billion) that all users pay $1 yearly and all

amount goes in Revenue. Let’s suppose in coming 2-3 years its

yearly revenue increase to $1 Billion yearly. But still it will take 25

years to complete only the amount that they paid for it.

I think it is not just a business deal. It’s more than a business

deal. Facebook Inc. is planning something big, very big. I have

some reasons that will prove that it’s much more than a business

deal.

There is a hidden purpose behind this deal.

1. US government is involved in this purchase.

Why US government involved in it?

US government is always looking for some programs that can be

used to trace people’s activities. They have already launched

many hidden programs to monitor people’s activity but in past it

was on Nation level and this time they planning for something big.

This time they want to monitor all over the world and for this

purpose tracking android phones is a good strategy and to get

control over android phone using Whatsapp as a tool is the

easiest way to accomplish this task.
