    I'm thrilled to announce the official unveiling anddedication of the monument at:

    Keeneland Race Course Lexington, Kentucky

  • October 12, 2019Time; TBD (likely between 10am-12:00)

  • The maquettes are pre-selling well, with approximately 20 ofeach size already spoken for. If you are interested, please email

    me for additional information.

    Large Maquette: Edition of 73, 28" long hoof to hoof, 16.5" tall, approx 55lbs, $7500 retail.

    Small Maquette:Edition of 100, 18" long hoof to hoof, 10.5" tall, approx 25lbs, $4500 retail.

    Both will be mounted on black granite, traditional patina plus an iridescentblue tint for the checkers and stripes. The 'white' is represented with polished

    bronze to show the beauty of the metal (no white paint).

    The Monument will travel upright on an open flatbedtrailer from the foundry in Norman, Oklahoma to

    Lexington Kentucky. Watch for our road trip October 8-10

    Beginning with a visit with Triple Crown jockey Ronnie Turcotte in New

    Brunswick to approve the clay sketch.

  • Visiting Secretariat's foaling and training shed in Doswell, Virginia

    Approval by Bob Baffert, Triple Crown Trainer (American Pharoah and Justify) in Del Mar, CA.

    A visit with Dell Hancock of Claiborne Farm, Paris, VA,

    where he was conceived, retired at stud,

  • and buried....

    An amazing critique from Secretariat's veterinarian, Bob Copelan,

    who is vibrant at age 92!

    And a quick flight to Florida for approvals from my boss, Alex Campbell. Mythanks to Robin Hutton, author of Sgt Reckless, (left) for the contact for this

    commission! And Anja, Mr. Campbell's assistant, for taking care of the details!

  • Another stop at the Kentucky Horse Museum for Secretariat memorabilia.

    Meeting with Kate Tweedy, daughter of Penny Chenery, owner of Secretariat.

    D. Wayne Lukas tacking up for the Keeneland race.

  • And another visit with Ronnie Turcotte to finalize details on the maquette forenlargement at monument size.
