forthisprestigiousLondonhotel,theclientrequestedthatall75wetroomshadlevelaccessandweredesignedtoincorporatelargeformat,wholetiles(withoutanydiagonalcutsforfitting).
eachwetroomwasalsotobefittedwithalineardrainwithascreeddepthofonly60mmfromtheconcreteslab.Inaddition,theclientalsorequiredtheroomstobefullywaterproofedincludingfullheightontheshowerwallsandonemetreonthewallaroundthebatharea.
Duetotheexistingscreeddepthandtherequirementtoprovidelevelaccess,weusedtheCCLWetroomsLinearScreedDrain,withanadaptedheight-adjustablefixingbracket.
thetopscreedwascompletelyremovedinthefloorareaoftheshower(1200mmx900mm).theconcreteslabaroundthetrapandwasteareawasremovedlocallytoinstallthetrapattherequireddepth.
thescreedintheshowerareawasthenre-laidhavinggainedthe12-15mmfall.
rIWtilesafemembranewastheninstalledtoallcorner-to-cornerjunctionsonthewallandacrosstheentirefloor,finishing75mmupthewall/floorjunction.fWMwasappliedtofullheightonthewallsintheshowerandbathareas-linkingtothetilesafemembrane.

theCCLWetroomsLinearScreedDrainwasinstalleddirectlyintothe18mmplyfloorbutwithaply-routedplateratherthanthestandardfixingbracket.
Battenswerefixedtotheexistingtimberfloorandarapid-set,flexiblelevellingcompoundwaspouredtolaythewholeroomtofalls.thefloorwasthenfullywaterproofedwithrIWtilesafeMembrane.
