WIKING Miro 1, wall mounted

WIKING Miro 1 and WIKING Miro 2 are the smallest wood-burning stoves in the WIKING Miro series. Both models have a large glass pane in a solid cast-iron door, and Miro 1 also features side panes of glass which offer ample op-portunity to enjoy the flames from various angles. Slightly

slanted angles at the rear enhance the look of WIKING Miro - not only when it is positioned on a straight wall, but also in a corner. WIKING Miro 1 and WIKING Miro 2 can be hung on a wall or placed on the floor on a 7 cm high plinth.

WIKING Miro 4

Like all the other models in the series, WIKING Miro 3 and WIKING Miro 4 are convection stoves which heat up and distribute the air to the room quickly. The models have a solid cast-iron bottom in the combustion chamber and a robust cast-iron door that goes well with the smooth sheet iron. The models have a practical storage space below the

combustion chamber, which is opened by pressing lightly on the door. WIKING Miro 3 has wide side panes of glass while WIKING Miro 4 has smooth steel sides. WIKING Miro 4 is also available with soapstone cover, whose natural pat-tern and play of colour lend the wood-burning stove a very decorative look.

WIKING Miro 5 / WIKING Miro 6The WIKING Miro 5 and WIKING Miro 6 are designed with a heat storage compart-ment. The compartment can be filled with heat-storing stone with a special ability to store heat from the wood-burning stove.

While the wood-burning stove is burning, the stone in the heat storage compartment will be heated up. Once the fire in the combustion chamber has died, the stone will continue emitting the stored heat slowly into the room.

WIKING Miro 6 is also available with soapstone cover which, in addition to storing the heat from the stove, is also decorative and exclusive cladding for this model.

Adjustable feetAll models in the WIKING Miro series have four con-cealed adjustable feet. Should the floor be a little uneven, it will be quick and easy to get WIKING Miro

into an even position by adjusting the feet.

Unique Closing SystemA closely-fitting door and simple, easy operation can be obtained with the help of the unique lock-ing system. Just pull the handle lightly to open.

When the door is closed, the locking hooks engage and pull the door shut.

The handle is recessed in the solid cast iron door and blends in well with the stove’s form and finish.

Combustion air systemA combustion air system can be connected to the WIKING Miro series, either at the bottom or at the rear of the stove.

The combustion air system is particularly suitable for new and well-insulated homes. The stove automatically draws in fresh air from the outside and uses this air during combustion, leaving combustion indepen-dent of the air in the room.

In a WIKING wood-burning stove, the regulation of air during lighting and re-stoking is managed automatically through the WIKING Automatic device. A heat-sensitive bimetallic spring expands or contracts depending on the temperature in the wood-burning stove. When lighting the fire, the damper will be fully open to ensure that the flames are supplied with the correct amount of air to get the fire started. The following quick rise in temperature will automatically cause the damper to close, thus ensuring clean and efficient combustion. When the fire starts to die out, the damper opens automatically again to allow for new firewood to be added or to let the fire die out.
