Examples of effective video marketing
• A digital ad that is creating a lot of buzz in India right now is the digital ad called ‘The Calling’ released by Anouk, a fashion label from e-tailer Myntra. The video, starring talented actresses Radhika Apte and Shernaz Patel, is all about workplace discrimination against pregnant women, and has been trending on social media. The ad was released on December 4, and has acquired 1,477,342 views and counting.

• Another digital ad that has been done well is Volkswagen India’s 70-second digital film for its Beetle. The film has been launched on social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube and the brand’s website. It is called ‘Ode to the Bug’ and celebrates the legacy of the VW car.
